If your form is being sacrificed on the Hammer strength you should drop the weight back a bit Gymrat.  Although all the pressing one after the after could also be affecting it to so doing side raises could be a good idea.

When you're cutting you will find you fatigue alot faster and your strength won't be quite what is was so you will need to find ways around it.

Keep up the good progress mate

Had a good sh bam  class and saw my trainer on the floor had a chatt to him and mention that my form on shoulder press is poor and thinking changing to lateral raise which my trainer thought that was good idea.While I was biking home from the gym .I started to think of other  excerises for other muscle groups for later on in the journey when my form starts to slip not to sure at this stage what they are something to think about between  now and then when it get's to that time.

Didn't get to the gym until; 9:30 and only had time for a train  since I had to do other things.While I was training thought about spending half a hour working on my routine but when I looked at the clock thought I will wait until tonight to spend half a hour working on my rountine.When I got home there was a news letter from my gym saying that my gym is getting new weights machines from the states which is on it's way and thought that sounds exciting and wonder what type weights machine that will be.It was very cold on the bike today when biking into the wind also very cold at work as well since I work in a old building.got caught in the hail when I was biking home from work but I was near home when it happen which was good.

Had a good train this morning before went to the gym I was having a read of the rule book for NABBA/WFF thought of what class that I will be competing when I do the Pan pacific show and the class that I will be doing is WFF athletic class Mr Athletic class 1 1.79m and over under 87kg.One thing that I have notice since I have started to cutt fulltime is the cold gets to me fast like during this cold snap.At work since I work in a old building had to wear two t shirts,one jumper plus my Hurricanes hoodie,work t shirt on top plus I was still cold when I stopped for afternoon tea but I was nice and warm when I biked home from work.Keeping my options open for Sunday which are if there is black ice on Saturday I am going to take a rain check on on my fasted cardio on Sunday morning but will go for a power walk when it clears up later on in the day also just be on the safe side of things.


Nice bro, looking forward to seeing your Conditining come comp time .

Had a good walk this morning before breakfast only saw one car on the road while I was out for my fasted cardio before breakfast.The roads were quite when i was biking to body balance.A random female memeber asked me how I was when I was at the bottom of the stairs to go back up to studio two to do 45 minutes posing practise which made me feel a bit anxiuous/shiffty.Stopped by mates house when I was coming back from the gym they notice a big diffrence  in me since they saw me three weeks ago also looking lean in my face as well.Well be showing them new pics when they get done on Monday morning

Last night when I was watching the weather on the news they were perecdicting  black ice for Dunedin.I thought be best to post phone my fasted cardio instead to later on in the day like after lunch just to be on the safeside of things.Before I went for my half hour power walk I thought of a good rule which is if there is black ice heavy frost post phone my fasted  walk for another time and 19 cardios to go until Christchurch

Was going to see my trainer this morning until I got a text from my trainer saying that something has come up and had to reschedule also there will be a delay in the new set of progress pic not to sure when will be hopefuly I will see my trainer at the gym when I do Sh bam tonight and ask about booking in.Weighed myself this morning before breakfast weight is 91kg and six weeks out from game day in Christchurch.Thinking of using fish oil as well for the rest of prep after reading about the benefits of it like helping the joints,brain and heart. since my joints are bit sore from time to time just mostly around my hips  but fine for my other joints as well.

Had good train this also talked to my trainer who was doing cardio at the time when I talked to him and rebooked for Monday.When I was talking to my trainer I said thinking of using fish oil which my trainer thought that was a good idea also I asked about anything else that I should be taking at  this stage in the journey and no.I will be  getting a singlet from Les Mills Dunedin and it will be black not to sure at this stage I will have it in time for my comp in Christchurch or  the Pan Pacific show or the Nabba South islands.In the email that I got from the gym that the club is right behide me which I thought was very kind and supportive words from the club.

Had a nice  good brisk walk this morning which was fasted cardio #10 and 20 more fasted cardios until my comp in Christchurch.Did 75 minutes posing at the gym which went well.My lower back was feeling a bit tight later on in the day and used  foam roller  before I did sh bam at 5.Ordered a eat me hat supplements hat to go along with my eat me t shirt which help me look very flash when I check in for my comps also when I am out walking the streets of Auckland when i am up there in August for the Pans.Notice on the NABBA website that poster is out for the NABBA Christchurch classic is out after I was wondering about when it will be out six weeks to go this coming Saturday bring it out and 42 sleeps to go as well.I was thinking today before I went to the gym this morning something tells me that I am going to have a hard time to sleep the night before my comp in Christchurch with the excitement pumping through me also my routine going through my mind thousands of times as well.

cheers Opti and Nate not to sure if I have mention this in my journal people that I know at Les Mills Dunedin are supporting me like asking how many weeks to go etc also a few of my co workers as well have asked how things are going.Funny you should mention that Nate I have wondered about that as well if Christchurch is ready for Gym Rat.I was thinking today at work it would be nice to have some you North island guys in the crowd supporting me and yelling my famous catch phrase GYM RAT BABY which would probley leave other people in the crowd think WTF or*scratch_one-s_head*

Had a good train today but strength was a bit flat for the last two sets for DB incline press and droped the weight down from 44kg to 40kg and got five good reps.All the flat benches were being used in the olympic gym so I had to do seated chest press in the mix gym instead.Before I went up the circuit room and sent a text to my trainer and asked about when I should be changing from free weights to machines which will be happening in two weeks time when I am three weeks out.When I got home from work I wrote up a training plan for when I am three weeks out from my comp in Christchurch which I am going to show my trainer when I see him next or before Monday when on the floor which would include not busy as well.Correction on the walks that I have left for my comp in Christchurch is 17 not 20 what I mention yesterday must have had brain fog.

Had good train this morning and showed my trainer my three week training plan leading up to the Christchurch classic and asked about doing body weight excerises as well which I will save those for when I am back stage at show when I am pumping up.Had the day  from hell today first case of bad luck charged my phone up before I had to go out the door no such luck but charged up fine when I got home from work.Was planing on doing 30 minutes posing practise just mostly working on my rountine 20 minutes in my Ipod gose flat on me so I had to stop there.,Got my eat me supplements hat in the mail  when I got home from work which was the only good point of my day.Wrote out my training plan for when I head to Aucks for the pans not to sure at this stage after the Pan Pacfic show if will have to stick with using machines or mix it up leading up to the  NABBA South islands show.

When I got up this morning at six to do my fasted cardio I notice that there was lots of frost and thought on second thought I will take a rain check on my fasted cardio and ten am body balance and do 4pm Body combat instead just be on the safe side.Plus I will use that rule for hear in.Wrote up my training plan for after the Pan pacific show in Auckland last night which includes doing body blance,body combat and sh'bam when I am up there also what changes and things that I have notice since I have started to cutt full time for examaple the cold weather get's to me quick when there is a cold snap.

I went for a nice brisk bike this afternoon after they pericated frost on the news on for Sunday morning.My ride took me the Edgar center for the Nuggest vs the Sants the.Game was crap since the Nuggets got floged badly.Watched the game from a box.Was planing on taking photos just mostly of the cheerleaders but left the memory stick for my camera at home..I wonder if my quads have maintaned there size since I have started to diet down and this coming Saturday 35 days until game day.Monday will be two more weeks of training with free weights  and machines before moving over to machines.Had thought the other day which was  when I do three full body trains on the week leading up to my comps in Christchurch and Auckland I might need to a hire a zimmer frame just to be on the safe side of things*ROFL*

Before I trained met with my trainer and just went over the poses in the circuit room and got my measurerments taken as well everything was just the same expect for my calfs which have gone down to 16 inches since I started to diet down.When I was going over the posing in the circuit room with my trainer one of the other trainers that I know at my gym mention to me that I am looking good.After my comp in Auckland I can eat what ever I want for three days untill I have to start back on the diet.Showed my trainer my training plan for Auckland and will be doing body balance and sh'bam was also planing on doing body combat as well but I can't that's cool plus I dont want to lose to much muscle  before the Nabba South islands.I will be mostly using machines when I am up in Auckland and training after the Pan's.Found out from Mike K that there will be a new Wolf's gym opening in Glenfield not to sure where at this stage.

Didn't get out the door until 8:20 this morning because my water bottle leaked in one of my saddle bags so I  had get my day back and put my food into that including my shaker and my shaker that my top secret pre work drink.Had a good train this morning did 30 minutes working on my rountine before doing combat.Bought myself a 400ml shaker from Eat me had 97 points plus my discount code as well which brought the cost down from 8.00 dollars down to 6.61 and it is half way between Christchurch and Dunedin.I asked about showing any forms of Id when I check in for the Christchurch classic and the Pan Pacific show  and the answer to that is no.Just thought that came to my mind last night when I was leaving the gym.

Had a good walk yesterday morning and I was amazed how warm it was when I went I for my fasted walk before breakfast which was 35 minutes and as I get closer to my comps in Christchurch and Auckland I will be doing 40 minutes of fasted cardio before breakfast.Didn't get to the gym close to ten yesterday morning had a good brisk 75 minutes posing which would include 30 minutes working on my rountine.Had a good sh'bam class as well.One thing I have notice since I have started to cutt I find it hard to sweat at times like later on in the day when I am doing sh bam on Monday and Wednesday night.

When I arrived at the gym I notice that I forgot to bring my lock with me to lock my bike up so I had buy a new lock for my bike from cycle world which is not all that far from my gym plus I got a discout out as well.Had a good train which took 55 minutes to train plus 45 minutes posing as well.When I got home from work and when I was looking at the warriors web site notice that the warriors will be playing on the Sunday  after the pan pacific show it took me a few minutes to think about my options the day after my comp in Aucks Eden park to watch Auckland play harbour or Mt Smart for the Warriors and chosed Warriors since I didn't get to game  last year when I was in Aucks and overall thought Warriors better option instead of watching Auckland play harbour which would be boring since I don't like those two sides.Hopefuly I will be able to get my photo taken with the Warriors cheerleaders

Had a good train this morning also had a chat to my trainer as well asking about taking any more supplements when I am two weeks out from the show and no I dont.For the week for my comps in Christchurch and Auckland I dont have to any cardio that would also include no sh bam as well and combat.I was thinking today while I was work and looking forward to having a normal Monday and Wednesday night which will be nice for a change and having plenty of time making my meals for the next day instead of rushing around like crazy when I get home from the gym.Going think of a good training plan for the week  comps for Christchurch and Auckland including carbing up as well and thinking of doing 75 minutes posing practise as well for when I am done training full body on the days that I mention in my last post and I am going to show my trainer and ask see if that is a good option or not.

Had a nice fasted cardio this morning plus it was to be able to go for my fasted cardio unlike last Saturday when I had to take a rain check  because of the frost.I had a good body balance class including 45 minutes posing practise.I forgot to mention yesterday I don't have to drop water which is good news after I was reading a  article about dropping water on bodybuilding.com and wikihow and thought that sounds a bit risky like putting stress on the kidneys and liver.When I was out for fasted cardio this morning and came with a phrase for when I do have a three day break from my diet after the Pan Pacific champs which is I don't care if it and it if it is high in carbs or calories etc plus I don't have to fasted cardio in Auckland when I do have go back on the diet.Back to dropping water that was my main worrie when I did start to diet down thinking hope I dont have start dropping water which will make things a bit more easy for taking fish oil and multi

Had  a  good fasted walk this morning plus the streets around my area where dead quite.When I was out for my walk started to think of some more food that I am looking forward to having during my three day break from my diet after the Pan pacific show like bento,sushi,tempura,Thai,subway,Hells Pizza that's if I near one at the time if not something else like what ever that be,Hope to have Hell's pizza at the Warriors game that I am going to when I am in Auckland.Looking forward to seeing my ant later on today when I go over to my dad's house plus it will be the first time that I have seen my ant since I visit Canada in 2005 which was just after the London bomb blast.Yesterday afternoon I emailed Suzie Patrick and asked about when the entry form for the NABBA South islands have to be in by and the answer to that is by the 24th of August.I thought I should send my entry form plus music for the South islands on the week the week of the Pan Pacific show.12 more fasted cardios to go if there is any frost or black ice on the days that I have to fasted cardio.I forgot to tell you guys that my trainer mention to me that I have to fasted 45 minutes posing practise if there is frost or black ice.
