What did you eat at the food court at downtown mall? My work is very near there so eat there a lot

For the Sunday after the pans before heading out to mt smart for the warriors had a bento with two squid rings and for Tuesday lunch which was a cheat meal from Burger King had a whopper, large French fries, onion rings and a large diet coke before getting the train out to Kingsland for the two pm tour of Eden park plus I enjoy the food court in the down town mall when I visit Auckland

It's pretty common to be the only one to have qualified for nats in any 3 federations wherever you go bibby for no other reason than most people don't do bodybuilding competitions.

So very true bro one thing I like about this sport is it keeps me young and it is good way to lower the risk of health problems in today's world like heart attacks strokes, cancer etc.

Yeah bro for sure, just stay natural mate.

True bro being natural is staffer then being on gear which is risky plus it can lead to health problems later on in life like recently Justan Rhys having heart problems which is sad.

When I come up to Auckland for nationals in October I won't have to bring pack has much compare to what I had to do for the pans. Since I will be coming up for the weekend. Manged to find a good price for a plane ticket for when  I fly up to Auckland 252 return flying jet star . Which is cheaper then air New Zealand. Will be buying my plane ticket on Thursday . Got a tub of pro tan of f the gymeez website yesterday plus will be using pro tan as my first coat and dream tan for my second coat. Going to look around to see what is out there for tanning on my face. Started working on my routine for nationals and it is going to be bad ass.

Good day GR, have you thought of an epic title / phrase for this show? Just a few that I have been thinking about the last few days:

  • Ratata is evloving.........into........Raticate
  • Nats 2014, the final show-down ft.GymRat
  • WWIII
  • GR is delivering a "package"

Quads today

leg extension 2x20 23kg,41kg 5x10 90kg, 95kg,99kg, 104kg, 108kg

leg press 3x20 5pps,6pps,7pps

smith machine hack squats 5x15 80kg,90kg,100kg, 110kg,115kg

smith machine squats 4x12 100kg,110kg,120kg

db walking lunges 2x20 12.5kg's, 15kg's

Had good session today notice today it was nice doing smith machine squats instead of doing kick stand squats which were starting to get boring plus it was nice to be working both legs at the same time instead of what I was doing before. Hopefuly this will get my leg bigger for Nats. Had a talk to my trainer while I was training. Showed my trainer the photo of my nice stack that I got up in Auckland when I was up there for the pans. My trainer thought that was a good stack. My trainer told me about d- aspartic acid. Thought sounds good bought a tub of that from asn before going to the bank to pay for the pro tan from gymeez Christchurch . Hope to do well at Nats and since this my first time going to Nats using the same approach as any past or present ifbb pro like ronnie Coleman or jay cutler  when they competed at the Olympia for the first time.just happy to be there regardless where I place in my class plus it will be a good experince in my bodybuilding journey. Those are some good ideas for phrases what you list  terry mondo. I have got a very nice stack for my prep for nationals which is

pro fight whey

red seal magaziume and zinc

healthories men's multi

gaspari micronised creatine

flax seed

inner armour glutamine

inner armour d- aspartic acid

good health fish oils

nutralife vitamin c

ronnie Coleman creatine

direct from manufactor pre work out

muscle pharm assult x 2 tubs from the pans

Was thinking that would have to be right up there with any world class bodybuilder supplement stack.

At work yesterday one of co workers suggest to me that I approach one of the beauty schools hear in Dunedin to see if they need anyone to practice full body waxing on. I emailed one of the beauty schools hear in Dunedin last night and asked about if they need anyone to practise full body waxing on. Figured that it would be cheaper then spending 160 which I have done for the other previous two times.

This morning had my first session with my trainer since the pans .Will be having 350g of carbs on my high carb days during the weekend instead of the 300g of carbs what I was having while I was having while I was prepping for the pans. Since I will be training on Saturday while I am prepping for the Nats will be starting the day off at 100g of carbs instead of having 350g of carbs in one serving. Which is discovered and learnt took a while to eat 300g of carbs in one serving which made feel full. Figured I be best to build up to 350g of carbs instead during the weekend. Can have cheat meal once a week until I am four weeks out. Then it will be clean eating by starting off with two cardio sessions in the gym then lots of cardio in the gym not to sure how long the session will be for cardio in the gym but will mention that when I do find out. Got some changes to back pump day which are the 100rep rubber band pulls got ditched plus I was getting bored of them . One new exercise for back got added which is wide grip pull ups to failure. Found out about the qulifaying system for the worlds and the top three from each class go through at Nats. After I was wondering about that when I was looking at info about the worlds on the nabba/ wff website this morning before going out the door. My training split for Nats will be

monday quads

Tuesday heavy back day

Wednesday chest and calfs

Thursday shoulders and hamstrings

Friday back pump

Saturday arms

Chest and calfs today

dips 3x10

smith machine decline press 3x10 100kg,110kg,113kg

cable cross overs 3x10 60pps,70pps,80pps

spine bench press 3x12 80kg,100kg,115kg

seated chest press 1x6  drop sets 72kg to 23kg on the last drop set

calf press 5x25 5pps for the five working sets

seated calf raise 5x25 50kg for the five working sets

Had a good session this morning took a hour to train chest and calfs. Asked my trainer about the times that I will be doing for cardio in the gym which will be starting on September 8th. Starting off with two half hour sessions ,week two will be three half hour cardio sessions, week four  four half hour cardio sessions  in the gym and for the week of nationals no cardio. Will be using the same appourch to cardio in the gym as when I was prepping for the pans by mixing my cardio in the gym up. Was surprised to see my wages in my bank account today . Normally my wages go in on Wednesday night since I get paid every second fornight . Thought might as well get my plane ticket for Auckland . Went to flight center to book my flight. Was going to fly jet star for going up to Auckland and air New Zealand for coming back until the travel agent told me the time 7:30 am flight to Dunedin which was the cheapest flight from air New Zealand. Which I thought was to early plus it would have might I would have to be at the Auckland domestic terminal at 6am . Thought no  would be best to fly jet star for coming and going.
