If you are a member of Snap then why don't you train at a snap fitness gym in auckland? Seems a logical idea...

Snap fitness Auckland is far away from where I am staying best to train at gym that is close by to where I am staying.I have started dropping water for the first time today will be on 2.5L of water will be intresting to see what my weight is at weigh in.Bought a tub of Ronnie Coleman creatine this morning when I visit mass nutrition and been exchanging text messages with my trainer mostly to do with my food for tomorwo.I loving the jam that I had on ten rice cakes last with my last meal of day yesterday and enjoyed Nandos for the first time in ages including sushi as well. Will be getting taned soon and have my next meal before I get tanned. Will be back on after Ratzilla gets back from weigh in

good business sense gymrat. the snap membership is a sunk cost. heres tip for you though; when signing up to free trials you dont tell them you go to another gym or youre only here for 'x" amount of time. you tell them you just moved to city and are looking for a gym that meets your needs.

ive signed up at numerous gyms for free trials when on holiday etc and ive only once not been given trial membership coz i didnt have proof of address even though lots require it.just gotta talk shit. have a cover story..tell them where you come from and that you came over only 3 days ago and where youre working etc. ask about prices for year membership etc so looks like youre there to stay

Bibby what time you going weigh in?

Just got back from weigh in and getting my tan on which is darker then last year.Came in 83.3kg .First time not having much water the day before the show was fun at times but diffrent then last year.Talked to a few people who I saw last year. Was going to do masters over 35 but I am in the same class as last year that's cool with me which is class one.Got to meet Linda Hickin and her partner at weigh both very nice people including some of Jo Stewarts clients as well. Thanks for the tips guys about free week passes will keep that in mind for the next time around. There will be 60 athletes competing at the Pans.Which would include gym nations very own gym rat or GENRAL RATZILLA .Got to experince  Auckland rush hour traffic when I was getting a taxi out to kings school end up paying 32.00 dollars which was more then last year when I paid 23.Hopefuly traffic wont be has bad tomorwo when I go out there.Ordered a copy for this years Pans on DVD and got told it will take a few weeks plus it wont be as long a wait compare to last year when I had to wait four months

Slept well last night but woke up at 6:20 and have shave a couple of spots on me before having my comp breakfast.Went though a jar of jam which was to die for after I bought it last night.Dont feel as nervious this time around compare to last year. Was finding yesterday a bit hard times like for examaple when I got a coffee in Britomart from a cafe in and seeing foods that I will be able to enjoy on Sunday like muffans etc which will be rewarding.Walked past the food court in the downtown mall yesterday but the smell of diffrent foods like Thai etc was hard and thought not long to go.Speaking of woman at the Backpackers that I am staying at a few South American hotties have checked me out.Hope to do well today if not just happy to be there and will be cheering and supporting Jo.I thought of a good phrase if I do win my class which is slighty modafy from when the late Sir Edmond Hillary reached the summit of Mt Evrest. But my version will be I knocked the bastard off Ratzzila style.Got a text last night from my trainer wishing me good luck for Saturday.Come to think of it that's not a bad idea to have a wonder around Takapuna on Wedneday and I image the people of Takapuna would be hounred to see Ratzilla in Takapuna.

Had a very awesome time at the pans.Came third in my class out of three people and qulifided for nats in October came away with two trophys one for coming third in my class and the other for being such a loyal member to NABBA/WFF plus came away with to tubs of pre work out cant rember the name of it since that I am on such a high from doing very well.Texted everyone on my contacts list and told them the news they all thought that was very cool and awesome.Got to meet rebele in person and she did a good job my putting my dream tan on.Looked like a difffent preson afterwords when I saw my self in the mirror.Spoke to the head judge after the show got told that I have to come in leaner for nats and use a darker dream tan as well.Got told by my trainer that i can eat anything that i want for a week while i am in auckland until i get back to Dunedin back on the diet for nats.Where my trainer will give me a game plan for nats or operation ratzilla road to the nats.Ran into Nate at the Pans was nice to see him.Was going to buy a mass gainer when I go out to Wolfs on Monday given now that I have made to nats thought be best to buy some other type of supplement to help with my prep for nats

Well done Gymrat you did really well, enjoy your food this week and have a great time in Auckland. Remember you do this because you improve every time you compete and you enjoy the process of training and precontest preparation. Competing is the icing on the cake!
