That what my journal is and I have mention that I competing at the pans a few time in my journal 

Oh sorry I must have overlooked that. I find that if there's a particular event thats important to you, such as the pans, then its a good idea to mention said event every time you write a post. That way nobody will forget that you've got a significant event coming up, in this case for you it's the pan. 

Here's some examples of what you could say:

  • Im looking forward to the pans
  • Yay I can eat pasta after the pans
  • I cant wait to f*ck sluts at the pans 
  • Yeah fuckin pans yeah yeah!
  • pans 
  • pans 
  • pans 
  • PANNNNNNNS!

 

Also, do you have your passport sorted for you flight? That'd be a shame for you to not be able to get to the pans.

i reckon that new rule is stupid how you need passport to fly from north island to south island and vice versa. just another way for the government to spy on people

I think you will find the new inter-island passport regulations were implemented following the christchurch earthquakes to stop south island refugees migrating north.

Bb curls 6x failure 10kg,15,20.25,30,35

Triceps rop pushdown 2x20 out,20 in,20 overhead 23kg,27kg

Triceps rope pushdown 3x12 41kg,54kg,59kg

triceps press down with triangle bar 4x12 130,140,150 pounds

super set

DB hammer curls 4x12 20kg's for the four working sets

Close grip bench press 3x8-12 60kg, 70kg,80kg

Seated alternating DB curls 3x12 12kg's,15kg's, 17.5kg's

seated alternating DB curls 4 drop sets 15kg's to 8kg's for the last set

close grip push ups to failure

close grip push-up on step failure

treadmill 20 minutes fat burn

Had case of bad luck when I was biking to the gym slipped on some black ice just as I was turning on to north road from cargil st . Landed on my left hip checked myself out to make sure that I was ok. Ended up with a few cuts on me nothing major thank god. Went over the road to the hospice to get cleaned up. Took my time biking to the gym for the rest of the way since it was icy in places. Texted everyone on my contacts list and told them about my case of bad luck including my trainer since he is looking after my prep . Had a good session expect for some person doing a shit job of spoting me on the last set for close grip bench press. Plus it pissed me off with the person doing a shit job. Asked my trainer about  the best way to  approach my final four cardio sessions in the gym got told to just stick with the way what I have been doing for the other cardio sessions that I have had in the gym. Thought today when I was at work I am not having a good July given what I have been through hope august is a better month for me

I bet your trainer and your mum really appreciated that, assuming they aren't the same person that is. Random acts of kindness are hard to come by there days, so good on you GymRat.

Last night felt rather strange since there wasn't any super rugby for me to listen to on the radio. Forgot to mention yesterday ,while I was work saw footage of the Auckland town hall on one of the TV 's . Thought when Monday rolls around Auckland just bring. So very true about random acts of kindness are very rare in this day of age when people are busy doing other things like what ever that may be. What happen to me yesterday this is going to make me stronger on the last two weeks of my prep and given that I have come this far on my long journey to the pan pacific show in Auckland on august 9th. Hopefuly the weather will be  better this week and not frosty or icy for that matter of speaking. Which will make things a bit more safer for me on my bike.

Started to think of my plan of attack for the final four cardio sessions in the gym. Which will be for this week two ten minutes sessions on the stairmill to help strip more fat around my gluteus. As for the last two cardio sessions will be one 20 minutes session on the treadmill and for the last one which will be 20 minutes on the cross trainer. Was going to spend some time work on my posing routine last night but the light for my bedroom went flat on me oh well. Will have to buy a new light bulb today

Notice today that my muscles were very hard after my high carb meals that I have during the weekend plus they were 300g of carbs won't say what type of carbs were used for my high carb meals. Thought I am going to get some mean pumps for when I am training chest and calfs tomorwo. Texted my trainer and asked about training  on the Sunday of august 3rd got told to. Will be training from Sunday to Thursday which I am happy about plus no cardio in the gym which was one of the things that i did not like about the final week from last year.

Have you thought about doing anything different for your cardio given you are now not far out from pans?

 

Will be keeping things the same for cardio but will step  it for the final for  four cardio session in the gym going from level ten to level 11

Excellent training Gymrat but just keep doing what your trainer says, it's important to follow their plan.

Chest and calfs today 

dips 3x10 

db decline press 3x10 35kg's,40kg's,45kg's

3cable cross overs 3x12  60pps,70pps,80pps

spine bench press 3x12 80kg,120kg,125kg

seated chest press 1x6 drop sets 70kg to 41kg

calf press 5x25 6pps for the five working sets 

seated calf raise 5x 25 50kg for the for the five working sets

stairmill 15 minutes fat burn level seven

before I went to the gym this morning it started to snow . Thought I be best to get the bus to the gym instead of biking to the gym just be on the safe side of things. Weighed myself before I trained notice that my weight was 85kg thought what the f*ck must be the high carbs that I had during the weekend in the water getting into the muscle but my weight will go down since I will be low carb until Thursday .  I was feeling the cold today after one of my co workers said you must be freezing with out any body fat. Thought  when go for my pizza after the show one rule go for any type of pizza and don't care what type it is. Got a phone call from my trainer today saying that he can't reply to my text messages since he dosnt have any money on his phone. Herd a add for lone star on the radio thought one of my many post comp meals to look forward to after the pans yum
