Dude it's all do do with the rec drugs which are the research chemicals being brought in and pressed into pills and being sold in the party scene... They are essentially just 'ecstasy' tablets. The powders for that come from the same place your performance enhancing powders come from such as testosterone, dbol etc. the body builders get these in for the gym and its not any more difficult to bring in these research chemicals and locate a pills press and start pressing pills. There is big money to be made and in reality you can only make so much money from selling steroids in nz, the market just isn't big enough to to turn over hundreds of thousands per year and with more ppl doing it now (how many brands are there atm?) it's just turning into a price war and a rat race. If it was all of u cunts selling would be paying a tax to a mc. So the greedy ppl are taking a punt and making pills where u can make millions, the police already know this now that where there are steroids there are pills.

It's got nothing to do with the ug steroid market, it's well known what this guy was up to.

Once they are convicted they don't... Someone who is on trial for rape or murder has there right under certain circumstances to name suppression until proven guilty. If u aren't convicted but are named as a rapist or murderer u may as well have done it cause ur life's fucked.

Name suppression is on a case by case basis every name suppression is individually assessed and decided on by the court on application by the lawyer.

I believe phil already had name suppression on a related incident.

You gotta look at the facts and not just jump on the its the whole world against the bodybuilders bandwagon.

But can't find any fault with this part. Re-offending while on bail...been a lot of talk about this in relation to non-steroid topics of late. Whether someone agrees or disagrees with the law on steroids, if you're already on bail, and then go and commit the same offence(s) again, you're asking for trouble if you think the cops won't be watching. Assuming, that is, that the facts are as reported.

Fark! I only got so far reading that this time, as short on time for now, but will come back to it later for sure.

Scarily my mum kicked me out of home in 1990, but I was lucky enough to have other family willing to take me. Guess were I would've ended up if they hadn't?

In the interests of balance and fairness, here's a followup to this story. I received a phone call from Allen (as per the above link) last night. He wanted to point out that the NZ Herald article only mentioned his name in relation to supplying Ecstasy analogue pills. There was no mention of steroids in the article.

And before anyone comments on this, they should be fully aware of our "no sources, no allegations" policy on drugs. 8)
