Just a question for you Poos,

are you seriously supposed to keep your arms straight throughout the whole movement till your arms are behind your back? :?

mine feels like its gona pop out of its joint! :shock:

The wider the grip, the easier it is. So start off with a really wide grip.

I had to start with a humungous rolled up beach towel 'cos my shoulders were so retarded, and slowly worked up to the broomstick. I just try and move my grip closer within the 50 reps.. but like he said in that thread, it gets easier (still damn hard, but easier :grin:)

:shock: I've been doing that DC stretch for a week and a half now, and Holy bejeeezus it worked!! Tentatively did some benching the other day and blow me down, there were no niggly pains in the right shoulder... 100 points for reviving that thread Ash!!

No worries, that stretch is bloody brilliant. I also started off with a rolled up towel, I couldn't have done it with a broomstick if my life depended on it :grin:

i'm a late starter...

for 2007 :

2 comps (maybe 3)

NABBA Auckland, Counties Manukau (and maybe North Harbour)

[Nationals is out of the question for me as its in CHCH and its gonna be too hard for me to find the resources to get there.... plus my olds dont approve of me gettin on stage too much.....]

BP 115kg (or maybe even 120)

SQ 140kg

85-90 kg at around 10% BF (really ambitious i know...)
