little help please seated cable row do you stretch all the way forward or just till your arms are are straight keeping your body upright?? I been stretching all the way forward then pulling back with lats gets mean burn but been told do other way. Which is the correct way and from??

Both ways work well. Neither is right or wrong

Stretching forward like you have been turns it into more of a lat exercise.

Staying upright means the mid back muscles like the lower traps and rhomboids do more.

You can use both depending on what your wanting to work and what other exercises you are doing in your back routine.

Stretch it out and the seated row is a killer exercise. You will still be hitting the mid back with the added benefit of some lat activation as well. I throw in some strict no stretching sets (high reps) at the end if you wanna bring up your mid-back (rhomboids, traps etc.)
