I did 250mg Test e (probably 170mg in reality) a week and 10-15 mg each day of dbol and have kept most of my gains.I gained 15kg while on and have retained 10kg by keeping calories up and lifting heavy moderate reps and still have 80% of my strength gains.

I hope to add a bit more on next cycle.This aint a sprint to the line and I seem to keep slow steady gains.I can up my dose next time but I think I will run a realy low dose of tren with my test.

I went through a similar patch where I just was'nt happy with my gains and size.I have been training for years and wanted that to reflect in my physique just slightly.

What I did was go on a realy low dose of test e and a mild dbol kicker.I have had no side effects so far which is what I was aiming for.

Iam glad I did for a number of reasons.I have kept some good lean mass and retained good strength gains.You hear all sorts of bullshit criticism on some forums about low doses being no good and you should go higher if you are going to shut down etc but their seem to be an awful number of sheep out their that believe the standard 500mg per week or nothing bullshit and yet have never tried to see wether a lower dose will work just as well.

A lot of people are so scared as newbs that they fail to listen to their own common sense.

I am so glad I did a low dose cycle for peace of mind and common sense with no sides and I am going to do another in five months time.

I stayed on my low dose for 6 months to consolidate low dose gains.

If you want to dabble just do a real low dose cycle,you'll gain both size and strength but most of all will have good piece of mind when you hear all the talk about sides etc.

I've been pondering with this opinion for a while now...

Gear isn't the magical quick fix most young lads think it is 250/week or 500/week won't cut the mustard unless you know how to train and eat...

I am aware that one of the biggest and strongest lads on here is only on 250mg every 7-8 days...

When I was at my strongest and was capable of a 600lb (272kg) dead lift at 78kgs, I was on 25mg Anavar a day... F*** all and laughable by today's standards..

A healthy young man produces about 70mg/week or 10mg/day.... That's what our Pro Rugby players and tested Power-lifters manage on.. 10mg/day or if they're genetically gifted they might produce a bit more....

But nowhere does it equate to anyway near 500mg/week....

Testosterone does make you grow, there's no argument about that, but if combined with a correct training methodology plus food, I personally think less may equate to more gains...

500mg/week Test plus 400mg/week Deca or Boldernone, and your up to 900mg/week (less the ester weight about 640mg).... Huge increase from 70mg/week...

I think if your dosing that high your gonna cause hormonal issues where your body is forced to take counter measures to the huge spike in testosterone and ramp up Estrogen, Glucorticoids and Progesterone/Prolactin...

You are forcing your body to constantly keep fighting against itself..

Then what do we do when hormones catch up enough to stop gains by about week 8..? Add more gear.. Causing more hormonal issues...

Maybe stopping low might be a better option... Just eat more....!!!

The worst that can happen is youll hate it and stop doing it.

that is not the worst that could happen

the wost that could *likely* happen is that you'll go sterile and wont be able to have kids. Is that a risk you've thought about, Mr Ninja?

I already have a little ninja, and am not on gear i was saying in his case i dont think hes going to start having kids in his late 30's? But each to their own if he is

It seems theres more to think about than i was thinking. Good post daz. Food for thought
