It doesn't matter right now about what or when you eat, as long as you get enough protein, fats and calories that you're aiming for out of that food (concept is called I.I.F.Y.M., If It Fits Your Macro-nutrients) So it's all about measurement of macros.

oh boy :pfft:

You're more into the meal timing, frequency, 'clean' foods? :P

Nice post PhilNZ

Though personally I wouldn't go over the 500cal difference for bulking/cutting (unless very fat and cutting)

Thanks :)

Yeah the majority don't recommend going over 500cal for bulking/cutting. But I guess trying things out wouldn't hurt bcus everyone's abit diff, right?

Not as concerned with frequency... I'm normally hungry every 2 - 3 hours anyway so it's natural for me to eat in that manner.

I don't however, think it's ok to just eat anything as long as it fits macros...

It's been discussed here before I think the consensus was on Quality macros

You mean sugar, fibre, types of protein, saturated, trans. fats etc?

I gotta say that if you're worried about GI from eating sugary carbs then just eat another macro with it to slow down digestion. Micro deficiency could be replaced with a multi-vitamin? Plus bcaa etc... but that's my opinion
