Haha yea having a kid is expensive man, i dont usually play roulette i dont like the odds but good on you $500 bucks profit in half an hour. You couldnt have even made that much standing on k road

Started 8 straight lifting days in the gym yesterday so when im resting and eating on holiday i can grow a little after all the dieting :D

Chest today just the basic lifts will have a second chest day later in the week for other things. Feeling like i need a holiday

Day 5 of 8 days of pain lol

Leg day again had a new pb on the leg press. Unexpected although i didnt squat first. Plus i had a bug cheat day yesterday! :pfft:

Today Felt dizzy and faint i dont think ill be doing a double up week like this again on such a calorie deficit or maybe i should just harden the f*ck up. Not sure

So im back after a week off lifting and dieting

My body is thanking me, my huge strength increase today and no joint pain at he gym was the tell tale sign i needed a break

Weight is at 93.6 thanks to huge amounts of meat and ice cream, burgers etc but started back on diet today and im hoping the extra 3.6kg is mostly water and carbs which i can shift in the next week

Did legs yesterday at hotel gym in queenstown, mostly lunges till failure about 20/25 reps per set, killer.

Chest today

Looked full compared to 2 weeks ago wish i could eat like this all the time and not get fat lol

Rest day today i thought i would post about new supps ive been trying since thursday.

Started d-aspartic acid and zma to see what all the hype is re d-aspartic and also havnt tried zma before for sleep

Havnt noticed any major differences although its only been 4 days. Have had morning glory last 2 days though which reminds me of being 15 again lol. Maybe test levels are on the rise but will know for sure by end of 4 weeks

Diet has been good lost all but half a kilo of my holiday weight just eating 2300 calories may drop back to 2100 or 2200 in the next few weeks to get closer to my end of year goal

Watched olympia live stream today. I dont know what all the fuss is about re. Kai greene getting robbed- he looked incomplete next to phil and a little softer than him too. Traps look small from the back

Forgot my shoes and worked out in my socks- noone even noticed haha.

Squatting in bare feet felt really good for posture and i was able to go heavier than usual- might stick with this one

New pb on the bench today not saying its definitley new supps but im feeling strong

Chest

Warm up:

Balls to the wall

110 easy

115 easy (old pb)

120 shot up quick but feeling it now

122.5 just banged it out, felt heavy and tired now

125 FAIL

Happy with finally hitting the 120k, feelsgoodman

Next time may stick to 3 warm up sets, not 6, felt like i was tired before i got to the top set

Some dumbell flat bench and incline bench not worth mentioning as i was more shattered than usual

Weight is now 89kg again so back to the 80's!

So ive entered into the CAPO deadlift comp at coast barbell on the 8th of december. ive never done a PL comp before and i have no idead what i am doing haha. So this is just for fun and to try something new. :D ill be competing under 90kg junior men. i am still doing BB training so will be doing 4 days BB training and then 1 day on the weekend for heavy deads and assistance exercises

A few of you guys on the forums mentioned coan-phillipi so im going to run with that. Im starting on week 2 because its a 10 week programme and i only have 9 weeks to train

My grip held out well which was the 1 thing i was worried about, and no bad pains anywhere. Im confident ill make gains with this in time so ill stick to it

So i got through another week lf regular bodybuilding training (4 days) and today was my second week of coan-phillipi. Thursday back day i wasnt meant to do deadlifts but i ended up doing heavy singles and maxed out at a sloppy 180. pretty stoked with the gain but felt it today (weak and sore like a bitch) will just stick to the one deadlift session per week from now on

140 x 2 Felt really weak from here on

162.5 x 2 Felt heavy but good form

132.5 x 3. 6 sets :shock: sore lower back on 5th set but not after this? :?

Workout was good but my glutes and hammys are stuffed from 200 rep lunges yesterday (gym was closed) so i went for a thai massage after work- man for a little lady she could really inflict some damage. Sorely needed though feeling better now. Back felt like concrete :shock:

My 3 last bodyfat tests- pretty stoked with how far ive come in a few months. Also stoked that my lean body mass is increasing with dieting and not the other way.

Trainings been going good been working a lot on my deadlift technique im getting closer to where i wanted to be- will post more on this after saturdays session. Planning to buy long socks too after realising how far out i was starting from and where i need to be right up against my shins.

So just finished my last training before next weekends capo deadlift comp. just focused on heavy singles with no assisance stuff except a couple sets of speed work at the end. Im happy with a 30kg increase in pb in only 2 months and i think 200 is doable with some good recovery next week. Aim is just to have fun at my first comp

190 x 1 New pb pretty stoked

200 x 1 No lift- dropped it just above knees hopefully ill land this next weekend

So my results from saturdays CAPO deadlift nats

B/W 86.9kg

170kg Good lift

185kg Good lift - flew up

200kg. Good lift Visually a bit of a grinder but the adreniline did the lifting here hardly felt the weight in my hands. Got 1 red for my left knee hitching slightly

I hit the number i was chasing and also took out second overall novice junior male and grinder of the day (novice)

Was such an awesome day to be a part of- well organised, fun and rewarding. Will definitley do another CAPO comp sometime in the future

Back to bodybuilding training and a slight calorie deficit to continue the cut

Into it for the mew year!

Have been doing well trying intermitent fasting for 3 weeks and have lost a couple of kgs and my energy is picking up so im going to stick with it- i think it works well with my body type (endo). im amazed ive even lost this much weight with the sneaky beers and holiday feeds that have been happening lately.

Currently 84.5kg and at a guess about 12%? I kinda have abs but they are barely visable. Still in the best shape i have ever been in. Im quite depleted though only eating 2150 calories so i think once i start eating maintanance again my weight will be a few kilos heavier

Short term goal:

Get under 10% (properly tested) and stay there

2013 goal: pick my balls up off the ground and actually compete in a bodybuilding show even if i think im not ready (Am looking at NABBA auckland but im keen for advice on this if anyones actually reading this)

Progress pics to follow soonish hopefully at around 10-11%

So im back from up north and a good few days of eating whatever the f*ck i wanna eat and not counting calories.

Will be logging the next stage of my cut here- im currently 86.3kg holding all kinds of carbs and water should go back down to my previous weight of 84 and 13% pretty quick (last progress photos) then from there i want to cut to 10% bodyfat and maintain that 8-10% range until i decide wether im going to do a lean bulk for the rest of the year or just cut for my first show and do it this year.
