imo zyzz was cool and had a great body and i dont hate on him at all. but he did cause alot of young annoying wanna be zyzz faggots to get into gym and hog the benches - went to the gym yesterday wanting to do bench and these 3 faggots did 8 sets of bench each, talking for like 2minutes after each person went.

1 year ago today that Aziz Shavershian died in Thailand. Whats your thoughts on him? Prince of Aesthetics, or nothing but a low BF%?

Depends how you look at him, or the influence he had on promoting steroid use from a young age. The HPTA system is not developed to handle a supra-physiological dose of androgens, much less a normal baseline production of androgens. Zyzz used to use that same argument a couple years back. Look how well that philosophy worked out for him. You'll rarely see studies on why steroids are bad for developing teens because nobody would be foolish enough to perform such an experiment when the conclusion is relatively obvious. When you have sets upon sets of people complaining that they used Dbol at 15 and now can't get an erection at 23, it's still an anecdote, but it's far from broscience. When you start drinking alcohol when you're 13, the degree to which it harms to liver is amplified because that organ isn't even developed yet. Same idea. The rate at which our bodies mature is established from birth, and even before then. If you screw with hormone ratios early on, you are playing with fire.

Even if steroids weren't bad for young people and everything ended up alright, it would be a waste of time. Nobody should have a problem making gains when they're in their late teens and early 20's. Being that young and having cells that healthy and strong is already akin to being on a mild cycle anyway. Food is simply the missing part of the equation. 95% of people you see in your gym can't eat worth a f*ck and its exactly why they train hard yet they look the same everytime you see them.

Also, the whole "Test drops after the peak in your 20's" isn't really true. An average 30 year old will have a baseline free T level that is usually equal to or even more than a 20 year old. Only difference is that the former has finished his pubertal development.

Ideally, one should begin training around age 16 and follow that continuous path for a solid decade before getting on, but Zyzz chose a different path.

I like his physique but I can't stand the way he acts more superior to others even though he was joking, he created a fad where people just wanted to be like him and achieve his status. Not really the kind of thing I aspire to, others may have a different opinion.

Steroid post was

Yes great post Daz. Further to what you have pointed out, being the physical boundaries that are pushed out as a teen user, you must also consider the mental boundaries that get stretched into places that not many young users can handle. Their limited life experience & maturity can put their minds into a place that can initially feel invincible & euphoric, but can turn rapidly into despair & depression as things go pear shaped :D

always disappoints me when young people look up to this guy. didn't put alot of my time researching this doucheberry but what I've seen is enough for me to judge the shit outta him. physique>average attitude>terrible. didn't he have a heart condition? not sure but im assuming some sort chemical assistance was in play. enhanced with a pre-existing heart condition? not sure if thats what the tots should look up to. dude is dead and im sure his chosen lifestyle helped.

not that any IFBB pros are much better :pfft:

Thought he was a God among men. Looks + Personality and he even trained legs.

Well his inspiration didn't make it that far, judging by the skinny leg benchpress, sit ups and tricep cable crews around.

Moving onto the majority of nutriders, it seems if you are skinny, you have 'potential'. wtf?

They now call it aesthetics, when in my youth it was called 'skinny'.

It's just the new politically correct way to not hurt the touchy feelings of todays youth.

If you fail, you don't fail - you just 'not achieve'.

If you're a butpluggin a**hat you can disguise it as 'sikkunt'.

It's not anorexia anymore, it's 'aesthetic'.

Gear doesn't make you any worse medically. In fact it would make you better.

Example A. Both Mentzer brothers died for heart attacks at roughly the same age. Everyone points to steroids because they were on it. They don't look at the fact that they died around the same age and that they were related so it could be hereditary; no... it must have been the steroids.

Also, although I think it was all the party drugs that contributed to his death; TLG, please prove that he wasn't on gear. Sure, he had an average physique that's completely achievable naturally, but we see that around all that time.

Lol what? Sure the effects of steroid use are overstated and hyped by the media but this statement is just wrong.
