Good stuff, mate. That's certainly a big change. How much of it do you put down to muscle memory, and how much is new muscle do you think?

Its very hard to say.

The first time round (when I was 18 or so ) I wasnt just concerened with building muscle, I also cared alot about performance. I was dabbling in 3x3 and 5x5 training programs trying to build up power and strength, and also a few times a week would do endurance training for boxing.

ive been training hard for the last 6 months and i feel like ive had the best of both worlds. my body was pretty much a beginners body, yet i already knew how to train my muscles effectively and how to push myself, and stick to a training routine/diet. and then theres 'muscle memory' (which im on the fence about if its real or not). im not sure what gains to attribute to what.

Id say ive probably got an extra kg or so of muscle than I did the first time round. so in 6 months ive done (and more) what took me aprox 1-1.5 years the first time round.

You still have a beginners body. I'm not saying it to be an asshole, I'm just being honest. But you have also made improvements and I'll take you're word that you've made better improvements than last time around.

I could also be saying it because you still have a long way to go (not necessarily saying you want to obtain a bodybuilder physique) and 6 months is a short period of time so well done so far.

lol. i should have probably worded that differently. when i said beginners body i meant the body of someone whos never lifted b4. i should of realised 'beginners body' would would have a wider meaning on a bodybuilding forum.

but yeah i agree. i defenitly have a long way to go to achieve what i want to achieve. the final goal i want to achieve is a good height to width ratio (ive always been tall and skinny and i hate it), so the road for me is perhaps longer for me than someone else, considering my height. So im not quitting anytime soon :). thx for the constructive feedback :D
