greetings everyone.

As of today I have given myself a goal of 3months to BULK up and get in shape. I have decided to write down everything I eat + every workout routine i do.

I know its not impossible but I would really appreciate if you guys can help me achieve my Goal :)

Problems:-

i find it really hard to put on weight.

i don't have a SOLID workout plan

does anyone have an effective workout routine + food plan that i could use as a guide??

it would be very much appreciated.

(the only meats i eat is chicken and seafood. i am on a tight budget in terms of food. any suggestions on good tasting (high protein) recipes??)

i thank you guys in advance for all the suggestions :D

you have taken the first step.

see forum resources above for work outs, meal planning.

get your self a tracking program such as fitness pal and accurately track your exercise and diet

then its just a case of eat , exercise, sleep eat some more

when you're skinny and been that way for a while you trick yourself into believing that it's very hard to put on weight (believe me, i was in that position like 8 months ago) but once you learn the key (it's 100% all in the diet) you'll see just how easy it is to add on that mass (well at least for the first few months it is :pfft: )

we could help give base data that'll help with your diet and such but it's not one size fits all and we especially can't assist if we don't have your stats. will need gender, weight, bodyfat % and training history/what kind of work you do throughout the day. lots more specific info on that here : content.php?id=162

chicken and seafood is awesome, add in some vegetables of course. main thing is to use the healthy food sources to make up the total caloric intake goals that you have for your diet, don't get stuck with the idea that you have to eat the exact same fixed 'meal plan' every day.

good that you are logging everything, you can use online tools like myfitnesspal (free) to assist if you aren't already, give those a try because its heaps faster in the long run.

Welcome aol :). Like fellowshipOfTheRon said, you can definetly put a good deal of mass on when youre a noob but ( i know you probably have seen this alot but..) be sure to set REALISTIC goals :). maybe 5 kg in the next 3 months or so (though this probably all wont be muscle)

3 months?

You need to have a life goal to be fitter/stronger/faster etc. Then this is broken into long term ones. Then break them into smaller goals.

For example:

Long term goal = 2-3 years.

mid term goal = 1 year.

Short term goal= 6 months.

Record every workout, once you get going. I use the Pushing Weight app (iPhone) to record all my workouts.

Can you cook? This is important to know before giving you ideas. and freezer space; this is important, as when the deals come up, you need to buy more meat, which saves you dollars in the long term (or just has you eating more in the same time frame :pfft: )
