So my dad has had a few lung issues over the last year, each time he sees a doctor gets more Ventolin 100mcg metered dose salbutamol inhalers, he doesn't use them as he finds another type of inhaler better, so i have 10+ of these blue salbutamol ones, can get lots more.

Are these any use whatsoever as a fat burner? from what i've read you would need something like 40x of the metered dose a day to match what most people dose albuterol, making each inhaler last for 5 days. I have plenty of them so would consider trying it for a few weeks to see if i notice anything, but not if its a waste of time.

anyone tried?

Hone answered a similar post a while back:

"The standard dose is 100mcg. To get 4mgs which is what a standard albuterol tablet is you need 40 puffs. An inhailer has 200 metered doses so you soon go through it. I have tried the inhailers and won't bother again, got very little results".....

How hard is it to get albuterol tablets in nz? Is it worth trying to import them from overseas? Excuse my ignorance but I'm under the impression that albuterol/salbutamol is not a steroid/prohormone so source discussion permissible? If this is not the case then I apologise, please delete my post
