How To Select The Best Protein Powder

Product shilling on forums makes me less inclined to buy a product. I like to see people report on products in an unbiased fashion and point out both the pros and cons.

I'm cetainly not involved in this type of practice, I can assure you. You may remember musclearmor on the other hand.....I'm just defending the brand from someone who is a little more destructive than constructive.

-Our powders are all different and tailor-made to suit certain times of the day.

So when im taking my morning sh*t which powder should i be using?

SPI is a great addition to your favourite powder. dont tell me its not just because you dont sell it

You are a funny bugger aren't you? I recommend you take our pre-workout fuel, it'll help your muscles contract properly while you are trying to squeeze that last one out. Don't forget your post-workout afterwards, I reckon your morning movements might be a bit more physical than most.

Have read and heard too many bad stories regarding soy, one from a well regarded member of this forum. The link to lower test is a good start.

YEAH I WOULD SAY IF U ONLY CONSUMED SOY YOU WOULD BE IN TROUBLE. BUT A LITTLE SOY AINT GONNA HURT, IN FACT IT WILL DO U GOOD.

SOY IS LIKE ASPARTAME AND SACCHARIN, THERES A LOT OF NEGATIVE BULLSHIT ON THE NET ABOUT IT...

BUT IF U DONT BELIEVE ME WELL THATS YOUR CHOICE. IF YOU DONT HAVE THE BALLS TO PRODUCE ENOUGH TEST IN YOUR SYSTEM I RECOMMEND YOU TRY SOME SQUATS

Sorry but unless you can give me some compelling evidence to suggest otherwise I have to disagree with you on this. True there's a lot of negative bullshit on the net about all sorts of things that probably won't really kill you. Unfortunately I can't see any possible benefit to using soy that outweighs any of the possible negatives. You can go on drinking your soy, saccharine and aspartame shake, but don't come running to me when you grow eyes in the back of your head and finally realise that those funny lumps on your back are actually breasts.

lol. well how about everybody can write down your perfect PW shake and then at least guy who started the thread can try them all out to see what works best for him.

i'd go for:

three scoops of the cheapest NZ made whey available (NZ whey is good)

non fat milk powder

two raw egg whites, 1 yolk

one scoop SPI

one serve Complan

creatine monohydrate

half teaspoon cinammon

one banana or strawberries or another fruit of choice

half glass anchor mega milk

half glass water

mix in blender

imo the protein powders aint the be all and end all of your training i use dyamatize elite protein powder becuase its good value for money imo. im sure alot of people would say its shit but its about how hard you train and what u eat that will determine your results not what powder you use lol

they are all probably pretty much of a muchness and all advertised to be alot better than they actually are.

im sure id get the same results no matter what brand of shake i used.

no offence to anyone who works for a company that sells powder etc etc.

at trhe end of the day if it tastes good and a good price ill buy it!
