All I want to this is this. Is it true that you can eat what ever you want when you bulking. For example Im 92kg atm and have lost muscle but still have some. Can I still pump my weights and eat what ever I want and get good buff muscles :)

"and OP you were supposed to be cutting" Why do I want to cut when I can put more muscle on then cut? your really cool though you have help me out in the past wit your experience. Peace :)

Dude you need to make your mind up about what you want to do! One minute you want to cut up to look like Sonny Bill and now you want to bulk? Decide what your goals are and then start doing your own research, if you get stuck THEN start asking questions.

Rxx, thanks for the reply :) Sorry, those previous questions were asked to gain a good base knowledge for the different areas I will be working on. But yeah, rather then being lazy and asking stupid stuff I'll just research which i'm capable of doing lol and if I get stuck then I'll ask. Sorry guys for all those questions I could have researched my self. Peace

Because with bulking comes fat bulking as well, if you already on a high fat percentage, you might want to consider a lean bulk possibly, or cut and then bulk maybe. Who knows, definitely not me.

you want to make sure you're getting enough protein, so no don't just eat 'whatever'.

and unless you want to put on heaps of fat you probably should figure out a sensible amount of energy to be aiming for every day which is above your body's maintenance energy requirements, but not too excessive.

Otherwise you will pretty much just be adding unnecessary fat which will make you look sht and make cutting take longer/more difficult.

so basically get enough protein then fill in the remainder of your 'bulking energy needs' with 'whatever' if you just want to keep it simple.

i would think it better for your health to try eat healthy though

Hi Mate,

Try buying some 1MR, i always have some and put just under a scoop in my coffee 2-4 times per day, doesnt taste fantastic but helps to build muscle pretty quickly. Something that I found works anyway....that and eating alot of rice / cabbage...

oh hi vader :naughty:

OK your body is not some kind of digital device, it doesn't know what is the difference between say 'cut' mode and 'bulk' mode automatically - like it won't go building tonnes of muscle suddenly because one day you decided "Hey I'm gonna bulk!" and started to eat everything around you.

Lets get back to the basics... cut = eat below your bodies base caloric requirements, bulk = eat above them. Exactly how high above them you eat in order to ensure gains is all up to you to work out since every body is different. The 'general' guidelines are anywhere 300~800 calories above BMR. Eating too high above this will not help the body build any more muscle because of course there is a limit to how much muscle it can possibly build/recover within any specific time frame. Usually the extras which it can't use either come out the other end as waste or get stored on your body as fat. There is no logical reason to keep pushing in high excess unless you have a underlying desire to kick-start a sumo wrestling career.

Who told you Arnold just ate everything in sight and pumped weights? He is an elite body-builder who worked amazingly hard and ate properly. He was also 'enhanced' which helps, but it sure didn't do all the work for him.. if you're not trolling us yourself then whomever has passed on this kind of advice to you is probably having a good laugh at your expense right now.
