My Journey to NABBA South Islands

I am starting to get serious about bodybuilding and i think that starting up one of these journals will keep me on track and true to my goals ..

I am 17 , 5,10 and around 80-82 kgs

I started weight training a year ago to gain size and strength for rugby and started to get a sort of obsession of how my body changed which lead me into wanting to compete in bodybuilding with a pleasing aesthetic body with size :lol:

My Goal i’ve set is to get on stage at the 2012 NABBA South Island Champs and compete in the teen division

I Board in a boarding house for school and sometimes they feed us pretty crap food but when im cutting the kitchen ladies are going to cook my plain meals for me which will also keep me on track because the meal will be there prepared for me :D

As i am bulking my diet is pretty all over the place at the moment but all foods are clean and i am trying to hit over 220 grams of protein a day with as many carbs as i can cram in. Eating this way and training hard has led to me gaining 4 kgs in the last 4 months with little to zero fat gain so i am going to stay this way and try to hit 85kgs before i start cutting depending on what my training thinks i’m looking like leading up to the competition.

My training split is as follows :

Monday: Legs

Tuesday : Chest and Biceps

Wednesday: Off

Thursday: Back and Triceps

Friday: Shoulders, Traps and Abs

I also play 1stXV rugby and have trainings on Mondays and Wednesdays and also i train legs on Monday so they are fully recovered for my rugby games on Saturdays

I also do quite abit of cardio for rugby but i limit it to 30 minutes a day that i dont have rugby because i’m bulking which helps keep the fat gain down aswell.

Supplements i use are :

- Mutant Mass

- Creatine Freak

- Multivitamin

- Fish Oil

Anything that doesnt sound right about what im doing or you think you could help me out with anything leave a post or pm me. I will also attach some photos just as a starting point to look back on when i can get one it will let me upload
