New to Akl - Desperately seeking BB friends!

I'm relatively new to Akl, having lived in Wellington for longer than forever. I'm looking to meet up with other body builders, women (seniors!) in particular so that I don't feel so isolated! Being the only woman in my gym that lifts weights with the guys is a lonely life!

Is there a club, or a regular gathering that I could turn up to?

Welcome Roadrunner. I don't know of too many clubs or meetings of bodybuilders - that's one of the reasons this website exists. But certainly some gyms are more bodybuilder-friendly than others, and some of those will have bodybuilding women in them. As Icecream says, what gym are you currently at?
