Acheivement of the month

I think it would be great to see a new category formed to go along with post and pic Of the month called 'Achievement of the month'.

It could be awarded to the member who achieves well in a powerlifting, strongman or bodybuilding comp. someone who coaches someone who achieves or even someone who loses or gains a lot of weight in a short period.

I guess we just need another sponsor for prizes.

My vote this month would be to hjp for his impressives pr's at his powerlifting meet earlier this month.

I like it. It conflicts somewhat with the current system of putting eligable people forward, and there are sponsorship issues possibly, but it's a cool idea.

Gave me an idea too. We could have a hall of fame for lifts. Like a flash looking leaderboard of who lifted what. To be added just submit a vid of you doing the lift. Could potentially have a 1RM leaderboard, and an X reps leaderboard so it's not all about powerlifting? Would be cool to see the date achived too. Imagine looking back at the hall of fame in a couple of years and seeing peoples lifts and when they got them.

should just make a new thread in the pics section and sticky it and let everyone have 1 post each to upload vids of what they consider their best lifts or whatever...like they can just edit their post to add more vids. have seperate thread for comments.

Great idea - having seen HJP and others really achieve some things, it'd be real recognition.
