Injuries well on gear?

Long story short, have been in process of working towards first cycle but have been a little worried bout a right knee injury I have been carrying since I was 18 (2 major ops and two minor), I'm now 38, knee has had muscle damage from these ops and has been a mission to rebuild so as to mirror left knee, also last week noticed a little pinch in right rotator cuff on push exercises, had a chat with a mate who has done several cycles and in his words he reckons to continue with my planned start date as the gear will help with these injuries and speed recovery.

This is bad advice yes or no?, the idea of carry a pre-exsisting injury no matter how minor into my first cycle worries me.

Please note that I am more concerned over rotator cuff than knee, as I have been working knee hard now for two years, its just been a little on the slow side for growth.

Thanks in advance for all comments.

Bad advice.

Anabolic steroids won't help heal Injuries like what you have.

If anything it'll make it worse! You gonna be getting stronger so going to end up putting more load on these body parts.

Just train smart if you decide to do it, there are plenty of machines and exercises to substitute the big lifts which will give your problem areas no trouble.

What Tom said.......

Don't think there's any literature out there to show Anabolics repair the injuries you've mentioned, if anything your gonna get stronger so will be applying more load therefore potentially making any injuries worse....

What if he was to run HGH?

Doesn't actually say what he is going to take, nor what his training regime is or intended to be?

Perhaps should list his workouts and then somebody could advise what he should change to limit possible injury.

Cheers for response Grover,

As stated earlier I have no real concerns with knee, I know exercises to advoid such as deep squats, lungs and hack squat, so leg days are split so that week 1 is squats(to parallel), stiff leg deadlift, leg press superset with leg extension and leg curls.

Week 2 squat / extension superset, stiff leg deads, leg curl.

week 3 stiff leg deads / leg curl superset, leg press, leg extension.

For shoulders I have been rotating military press one week and dbell press the next, the rest of the workout looks like this, arnold press, cable side raise / cable front raise superset, seated cable reverse cross (for rear delts), alternate weeks I drop the cable front raise and use alternate cable side raise to hit side and front pec/delt tie in.

My proposed first cycle start date is april, looking to run .8ml test-e twice a week (monday and thursday) for 12 weeks.

Had Doc appointment this morning, checked blood pressure (all good), and will be off to get full blood works done next week, would have liked to have done it today but doc decided it would be a good idea to check prostate while I was there, so have to wait till next week.

Hope this answers some questions.
