Cable Pushdowns

Hello,

I am new here and to body building and was wondering about the correct ROM on cable pushdowns using a rope / v bar...

I end each rep with my elbows locked pointing about 30* off vertically down but was wondering whether I start with my elbows to wrist parallel to the floor OR at about 30* off vertically up?

I've seen a few people doing each type.

wrong you need 37.74345523 degrees of elbow extension for the exercise to be effective.

Srsly though don't worry bout it, time under tension is more important I reckon, so long as you are working the triceps through some kind of ROM and are very strict in your form, not using momentum or using bodyweight etc then you are golden.
