Personally I would drop my bodyfat, then try to bulk without regaining that fat, then cut some more for your comp. Two reasons for this:

1) You'll get a better idea of what body parts need extra work at a lower body fat, and

2) If you cut down in stages, you're more likely to hold on to more of your muscle.

Each to their own bro, im going to find it harder to lean out, i can put on size easy but at the same time my BF is always a bit higher. Everyone is different

no offence but when you say you are putting on 'size' its probably mostly fat if its so easy. but kind of agree that if your bodyfat is 18% it would be hard to get it down low without losing muscle.

i think you'd be better off not letting your bodyfat get so high
