All I was saying is it's pointless training that many times with that split... It's not very smart that's all.

But by looking at your physique and gay hat you obviously know more than anyone on here.

Typical wanker getting all offended when offered advice or contructive critique.

Have to say i agree with this. Why else would you post if you didnt want advise / tips / critique?

It just doesnt make sense to work quads and hamstrings in one session, then go back for a whole session dedicated to calves.

If it was me and i had to do those 3 muscle groups in one day over two sessions, i would probably hit the quads, then go back later and do hamstrings and calves.

No one is really having a go bro, just offering advise that may help you see better gains, thats all.

You then OFFER ME ADVICE, which i ACCEPTED and then you 'can't be bothered' posting it.

why doesn't it make sense man? just remember we aren't all the same, training isn't a one size fits all sortv deal. that may work better for you! but i don't think it would for me.. this is my reasoning:

I can quite happily smash quads&hams in a single workout, they go together quite nicely, with your big leg compounds you are never singling out either. However i CANNOT give calves the attention they deserve after a heavy quad/ham workout, so i go in later on for 30~ minutes, give them their 12-15sets and mabey do some abs/cardio aswell.

Thats essentially what i do for bis/tris aswell..

Actually in the VERY post you quoted that 'wanker' literally had a go at me, and didn't offer any advice... mabey read that one again.. even had the audacity to have a go at my aeesthetic blue hat. which by the way, is a match made in heaven with my eyes ;)

When I was your size I remember splitting Shoulders and biceps in one day.

Had the luxury to do that as a towie in Perth but can't now.

Works well IMO you get to eat, rest, eat again before hammering biceps in the arvo.

If I had the time I'd do that again it's kinda what we do when we do Shoukders one day and Arms the next anyway.

Dunno wat the big deal is, keep doing it :clap:

Only thing I would say, is getting shredded is not aesthetic, Zyzz had a look that was lean but not always shredded like u. But that's cool u r prolly not always like this, keep it up!

Anyway, let's move past the symantics of that for a moment.

I'm still not convinced that hitting legs minus calves in one session, and then hitting calves in another session later in the day is all that productive. I mean it's not like the calves aren't getting hit indirectly through most glute and thigh training anyway right? The thing is, and this is from my own experience only, is that my glutes and thighs can take way more of a beating, and it takes longer to depleat their energy levels than it does my calves.

I mean i'll usually do back squats, lunges, SLDL, leg extensions, and probably still be looking for more shit to do, maybe toss in some high rep hacks if not feeling sick. When for calves, i can only really do bb standing calf raises and the donkey calf machine and they will be dead, like hard to walk dead.

Anyway, just trying to offer some advise from my own experiences, not having a go or anything. I would say lifting weights is actually pretty cookie cutter in that there are some must do's, but sure there is room for individualisation, and if it's working for you or your trying to bring up your calves, then sure, keep doing it. Just remember though, i never hurts to try something new and see how it works for you, worst case scenario is you've just mixed it up for a few weeks, and that's always a good thing.

THIS. Its like a luxury, splitting it up and really smashing each muscle properly. Zyzz was alot leaner than me lol, i'm still probably 9%, i want proper delt striations etc.
