On a side note, we expect you to wear your NZBB tshirt to the Nationals

Haha, you send it to me and I'll even wear itto the gym in between times!!

To Midpine - yip, that was me in theblue bikini. I will post some pics soon for the rest of you.

thanks for the support over the last 5 months. I'll be signing in again a lot more for your advice on Nationals. I think I'll work on getting my back bigger and my legs more defined so any suggestions are welcome.

I'm also going to do things a bit differently on the diet side. Last time I dieted hard for 16 weeks and I was ready about 4 weeks before the show so this time it's going to be 12 weeks out starting Aug. In the meantime I'm going to enjoy the little comforts like yoghurt, cheese and bread that I have missed for so long! And of course there's the chocolate I missed over Easter!

Here are a few pics from the Capital Champs. I ended up against Julie Buck in the Overalls (she won it). She has an awesome figure so when they do finally post the pics on the NZFBB website have a look, there was some good competition there!

I want both. More muscle and more definition. I'll be competing in Novice Figure at the Nationals and then if I want to compete again I will have to move up to the Open Figure.

I forgot to mention before that I did my routine to BodyRock by Moby. Not sure if I will keep that for Nationals or make up a new routine. I've found other music I like so would be good to see if I can put my own routine together instead of paying someone to do it.

Wow.

I just flicked back to the first pics in this thread. I'd say not only have you done a great job of leaning up, you're also holding more muscle now - delts show an obvious improvement.

There's a nice even colour to your tan, too - what did you use?

haha, hopefully all that extra muscle is the answer to me weighing almost more than when I started dieting then! Well, that and the constant stream of junk food I've been eating since Sat night.

I used two coats of Protan (not showered off) and then one of Dream Tan (on quite thick). I looked quite a bit darker than a lot of people but under the stage lights it looked just right.

Heheh... Just think - in another month or so, the ProTan might even have worn off!

Now that you've done your post-comp binging, try to ease back into normal eating slowly. Otherwise you may experience the old rebound effect... :D

I've had the spray tan that someone else sprays onto you and they are good last up to 10days. But they are only as good as the person applying them. I used the darkest colour as a base for dream tan as I couldn't be stuffed with the mess and time consumed by applyin protan

You're kidding me!

I came late and that was the first routine I saw- Absolutly stunning, congrats!

Also you had one of the best routines of the day imo. I wouldn't be too quick to change it- presuming it's the one I think it is. Started off looking at the backwall, more towards the rear of the stage, hip swing type movement as the music started, to which you turned and came to the front of the stage for your poses? It was good as it had flow, each pose was linked very femininely, unlike some of the others routines. It looked as though you've had dance training- either that or you go clubbing a lot! Saying that I have no idea what the judges are looking for, but I thought it kicked ass.

Thanks Bleat! Yip, that was me. I practiced for hours, I'm not the most co-ordinated person, and I certainly haven't trained to dance! Still, all those clubbing nights could well have paid off, that and the kahlua backstage.

I've found another song I want to use, so I may try putting a routine together myself but if it doesn't look as good I'll use the bodyrock one.

I'm still not sick of that song.
