MACHINE :rockout:

Not yet bro, soon!

did 2 hours of millitary fitness training for work. As a warm up I managed 82 pushups and 113 situps in 2 minute blocks. The rest of the session consisted of pushups, burpees, planks, flutter kicks, lots of running and various types of crawling. I am fuarked! But for someone who has done little cardio work as of late I didnt do too bad I hung with the rest of the group and by the last rounds I was finishing in the top 2. Not bad for lazily lifting low rep sets

 that sounds intense! Good on ya!

That was my cardio workout.... for the year

OH rack press 20x10x2 40x3 50x3 60x3 70x1 80x1 85x1 90xmx2

OH squat lockout 90x3x2 100x1 110x1 120x1 130x1 140xmx2 grrr

OH rack press 80x2 80x1 m 2nd rep GRRRRRR

Reverse grip press 20x10x2 30x5 40x5 50x3x5

NG pullups bwx5x6

BB shrugs 60x50 80x30,9,11

Conc curls 16x15 PB (lol) 8,5

Pushdowns 66x15,8,3

Not happy with my performance on presses today I will come back stronger next week and smash them. Felt a bit of a twinge in my left shoulder but its algood now. Going to a block of specialisation for my traps/forearms where I hit 50 rep shrugs at the end of my heavy sessions. When I can do 50 reps in one go I add weight and start again. That should get the bastards growin

Damn 50 seems a little high....why not stick to 8-12 reps and go heavy as you can, strap yourself to the bar even!

I have done shrugs with up to 220 for 5s but it thrashes my low back to bits so I cant squat heavy for a few days afterwards. The other benefit is increasing my grip strength. I will run this for up to 4 weeks then focus on something else and come back to it later.

Squats on the way up again, I think 140 was on the cards but I can bank that away for another session. Also chinning strength continuing to rise. Mason told me about nz's best arm wrestler doing chins with 80kg for 5s, I think that will be a good goal to aim towards

Good move TT bringing the weight back. Why 85kg? is that what you think you should be around? What was the heaviest body weight you got upto?

I should be fairly lean at 85. Then I will try maintain that composition and get back up to 93. Mid 2010 I peaked between 125-127

Holy crap you've progressed quickly with your chins! Dropping the weight has done wonders for it. Gonna have to watch my back, can't let you overtake me with my beloved chin ups :phear:

You should get Mason to sign up here too

Well it just goes to show if you want to improve on a lift and fast frequency is key  Ill keep it up with the daily chins until I hit the 2plates for reps then I guess I can cut them back and focus on something else. Guess it helps when you droppin weight as well :pfft:

Pullup/chins 5 sets 3-6 reps

Btn push press 20x10x2 40x5 50x5 60x5 70x3 80x1x2 90x1 95x1 100xdrop on neck 85x1x3 90x1x3

chinups/pushups/powerclean/front squat strict press/backsquat complex 1-2-3-4-5x50kg as fast as possible

machine tabata seated row/dips/machine press/leg ext/chest press

Hammer curls 20x12 PB (lulz)

Just a casual workout today. 100kg push press will come soon enough just need more time under some heavy singles. Afterwards mucked around with a complex it was flippen hard. The tabata was really good though (although very tough)

Deadzone tommorow!

Powerlifting is still my passion. But I am not strong enough to compete. Yet.

And yea definetley taking pics as I go along. Wish I had some from when I was at my heaviest I will see what I can dig up.

Wow. Yeah thats a big change. You should write yourself a weight loss testimonial lol.

How things have changed. Back in 2010 everyone wanted to be an Alpha Male in the Super heavy weight class. Now everyone is cutting to be in the aesthetic 93kg class :pfft:

Maybe for Jenny Craig? lol Yea I agree there was nothing I wanted more than to be in the shw. When I got there I didnt really enjoy the perks. Aesthetics start in the 74s

Mid 2010 I peaked between 125-127

fuuuuuuar those we some good times brah, Gengys/kfc/wendies marathons

 Man those were the days! You had me at gengys, I beat you at the bucket and we were equal at wendys. Tie breaker= tuna and rice? :pfft:

BW 90.5kg before brekkie

deadzone 20x5x2 70x3x2 100x3 120x1 130x1 140x1 150x1 (these were all done oh no hook) 160x1 170x1 182.5x1 2xBW \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ Post injury PB

Millitary press (from hang) 20x10 40x5 50x5 60x5x4 60x8

Ab circuit

Man am I stoked with today! Back held up solid throughout the deads so pushed the envelope. 22.5kg up from last week, was a slow grinder but man it feels good to be above the 2xbw mark. Millitary pressing felt awesome again today, 10kgs up on last week. 80kg is my alltime PB and that is going to get smashed, watch this space. Happy with the weightloss at the moment, been strict on the eating and hard on the training and it is paying off.

Strict press 20x10x2 40x3 50x3 60x1 65x1 70x1 75x1 PB 80xm

Rear delt flye 3x15

Face pull 3x15

Seated row 3x15

Lat pull down - not happening

Was a rubbish session today. Got a real sharp pain running across my right collar bone that is annoying the crap out of me. It flared up on the over head stuff. Was so close to hitting 80 blasted it off the chest and then stalled right at forehead height. Will load up on voltaren/stretch and will give it a go tommorow.
