New start new journal. Back is in the process of mending. Fat is in the process of dropping. Bench is in the process of growing. Im aiming for the CBC comp lift as my first event of the year. Also Im aiming to come in and around the proximity of 85kgs. Weighed in at gym 94.95 so roughly 10k to drop. Going to try something different in training where I will be basically lifting near max poundages everyday. Ill go back to alternating between push/pull and squat days with light days thrown in as needed. Only going to use a few exercises for rotation and focus on making them progress. They will be bench, close grip, millitary press, chins, shrugs, speed pulls, front squats and rack squats.

Today was a light day.

Are you going to take an action packed urban stategy or a passive rural one come z day? Personally, I see myself in the main line still with access to supermarkets etc. I think I would be more scared of running out of food than my brain being eaten.

I will go rural, will allow me to live an authentic paleo lifestyle :pfft:

Im pretty sure if I can maintain that weight I will be hitting PBs in no time. But the ole 2xbw sq/dl and 1.5xbw bench are the elusive numbers I will be aiming for.

m1 1cup oats fruit 5 eggs 2 whole + 3 whites

m2 200g carrot/kumara salad 200g chicken

m3 same as above

m4 200g chicken greens

m5 2 baked fish fillets + greenage

Heavy upper- from here out where otherwise noted all main exercises have an imposed 20 minute timelimit.

HIIT xtrainer 10 minutes

Feelsgoodman doing deads. Feelsbadman that they so weak. Going to add a few HIIT sessions along the way maybe 2 or 3 per week, but Id rather add in more weights sessions ala bulgarian/chinese weightlifters to up expenditure.

Looking good TT, at 85 you'll have a wicked V taper and some shredded quads :clap:

Im not gonna lie my main goal from this is to get shredded quads and the xmas tree..maybe some abs too :pfft: :pfft:

On the road to getting my squat back up. Stopped myself from going any higher I need to build back into them slowly. Did something I didnt think I would ever do and I posed out my quads HARD in between each set. Heavy weights + short rests = sweating up a storm, then had a chat with my bb mate from my gym, he is staying u10% at about 90kg which would be something Id like to sit around.

Shoulders were thrashed to bits they are a point I want brought up so they will be getting some special attention on saturdays. Felt a bit odd holding more than I squat over my head really challenged the midsection and delts. Can hit some reps on widegrips now, time to pull that into the double digits.

Getting more comfortable with squatting. Will be back up over 3pps in no time. Bench felt hard but managed to knock out all sets.Time to up the weights then build up again. Highlight of the session was definetley chins. Will up the weight again next week, feels good to rep into the double digits my daily pullups must be doing something!

Awesome session today, felt good throwin up 100k again. Focused on jumping violently then snapping underneath 100 flew up only just missed 105. Im looking at getting a gillies membership so I can push some of these oly type exercises a bit harder.

Good training today front squats felt good will build them up and beyond 140 in no time. Tried somedifferent things with deads, core felt a lot more supported.

Went in to do some light stuff. Nek minnit moderate heavy presses. Want to get use hook grip for no other reason that I dont require full feeling in my thumbs. Have got a bootcamp session tommorow with an ex spec forces/para rescue/police pt instructor. Its going to be roughly 2 hours. Should be fun :/
