:-s Please explain why coming down from higher body fat means he will have better legs Dinahlady.

I'm not Dinahlady, but surely legs that have been carrying around a heavier load for years would be more developed than legs that had been carrying a lighter load? Not a component of body fat, just body weight.

Thats a plausible theory Phedder but I don't think it applies here

These guys aren't sedentary, they obviously lift. They train at CBC so its pretty safe to assume they squat and dead very regularly. I would say the difference of body weight they were carrying around daily would have little impact on the size and conditioning of their quads compared to other factors like their training, diet and genetics.

Haha ! Yes I meant it will be the calf development from carrying around a heavier load!

Its not scientific at all (as in I've never read about it) but its something I've observed over the years AND is clearly evident in that pic.

I dont really know about quad/hammy dev but definitely applies to calf dev... from my experience.. that is all...

i think they both look in pretty decent shape for lifting.

The "used to be chubby" guy looks like he has a good midsection coming through and is not any wider than the tatoo'd guys midsection. Can only tell from the knee down what the Legs will be like but the calves look better on the ex-chubby.

The tattoo'd guy looks slightly more v-tapered but could be the angle and/or the pose.

7 weeks to gain 6kg...strong bulk! But will pick the guy who's body will rebound upwards faster (the ex-chubby one on the left).

 eat fellas, eat

Hard to tell. Both guys train hard, tats is stronger but ex chub is gaining every week. As an ex fatty I would probably put my money on ex fatty to get to 100kg first, but if tats reaches there he may be in better condition. Hmmm only time will tell start posting journals fellas and go hard!

so whats the competition based on?

best lifts?

look best at end?

put on most weight?

The reason for the challenge is to see which of these guys can get to 100 kilos. Then see who has the lowest bf% and higher muscle mass.

The chunky guy should have no problem reaching 100 but its his bf that he will need to keep in check.

The skinny guy is going to have to get to 100. End of story.

Two guys from the opposite end of the scale will make it an interesting challenge.
