Hey lads just wondering if anyone knows whats the deal with gear here in nz with personal use sale etc what is legal/illegal etc. I have heard in the uk it is legal to use for personal reasons but not for sale and you can buy it over the counter at a pharmacy but here in nz no deal....

It's a prescription-only medicine (testosterone anyway) so no over the counter sales whatsoever and illegal to import without a precription also.

sweet so i guess without prescription it would be illegal to use and have in your possession also?

Pretty sure that possession of prescription-only medicines without a prescription is not a criminal offence unless it falls under the regulations of the misuse of drugs act but don't quote me on that lol

Having once lived in the uk for over 20 years I never encountered any pharmacy over the counter gear.We used to book a weeks hol to greece and bring back a suitcase load back as the law was for personal use only but think that has changed now . Now alot of gear distribution in the uk is controlled by organised gangs so if u buy some shit gear ur fucked if you complain too much :cry:

It could be prescribed for HRT, but wasn't as widely available as in European Pharmacy's ...... As far as UK law is concerned personal use of anabolic steroids and the importation of anabolic steroids for personal use is permitted under UK law....

As for aas, if you have to buy it through the underground, you should avoid being identified as a user. Even if jail for personal was not an issue, it certainly isn't something you need others to know about.

went to Portugal on holiday a few years back and spent most of my piss funds buying D.BOL from over the counter pharmacy and I recall there was a wide range of gear to choose from.Even the sports supplement shop was all to willing to sell gear to anybody \:D/

Hypothethically, the odds are ok unless you are already a person of interest or you look and feel guilty as you're going through Customs. 95% of passengers walk through without their carry-on bags being searched. The shows on TV wil have you believe they intercept every illegal import....that's their sole reason for airing the show, not for fame.

But ask yourself, is it worth it for saving a few hundred bucks, even saving a few thousand? A record against you that just says "Importation of illegal substances" and you have to justify that to every employer...IF you even get to an interview stage that is.

You may as well try and import heroine mate and make some money (joking, my point is why do it in the first place).

Have taken stuff from here to Oz just once, was only some hash oil and some seeds and i got searched but got it through just fine. Never been searched since but I must have looked guilty for them to target me or it was an unlucky random target, either way...never ever again 8)

Wouldn't bother even trying now.

Ahh LOL missed that point :pfft: sorry dude

You have to declare it (prescription means restricted which is one of the questions on the form), you won't get to go through without an inspection of your doctors certificate and the labelled product.

I wouldn't like to guess what happens if a returning citizen who's spent a few weeks abroad comes back with a foreign script for gear. I'd look sideways at that but no clue if Customs do so can't advise there. They'll honour a doctors prescription (they do that on behalf of MedSafe I believe) so if a doctor you see while on holiday prescribes something I'd imagine you're allowed it in (personal use amounts though LOL).
