Not a huge effort tonight, might try swapping dead and squat days around next week as deads are losing out.

Hoped on the roller, back is feeling very tight.

Raw benching to start with

Bar x 20

60 x 10

100 x 5

120 x 3

140 x 3

140 x 3

145 x 3

145 x 3

145 x 3

Almost put on the shirt here, I took my old F6 with me, might sell the new F6. Everyone pumping along so will do 3BD instead as will probably need help and don't want to interupt everyone's efforts.

3BD

180 x 3

200 x 3 (missed it....rushing my setup again)

200 x 3 (got it..surprised but shouldn't be as the setup was good)

ok time for the shirt

180 x 1 (2BD)

200 x 1 (1BD)

210 x 1 (touch)

210 x 1 (touch)

200 x 2 (2BD to finish it off)

Pretty pleased with the workout, tendonitis is flaring up but so far I can still bench though in the shirt the swelling in my left arm makes my hand go a little numb. Chatted to the guys about it and I need to do more red band pushdowns and the stretches Opti showed me yesterday....not to mention some application of the Qoleum Gel, good stuff.

Got yet another shirt on it's way over from the states....smaller and stronger....can't wait!!!!!

Squat night tonight and operation depth continues...........

Raw squatting

bar x 10

bar x 10

60 x 5

100 x 3

140 x 3

180 x 1

Chuck suit on, in mad rush to get into it! Goal this workout is to reach the bucket, which sits around parallel.

220 x 1 (missed)

240 x 1 (missed)

240 x 1 (missed)

Coach says button back to 200 and try and get depth. We throw on the knee wraps with the intention of doing 3 singles in quick succession without the bucket there

200 x 1 (Parallel)

200 x 1 (Got depth but double dropped it)

200 x 1 (lost feeling in my feet so didn't complete)

Yeah not the best of workouts, couldn't nail the technique tonight and I go over and over in my head what was going on. 200 was easy but I just wasn't sitting back properly, knee's came forward a few times. Feel like heading back to the gym now to try just one more!

Next week!

Did someone say grab a leviathan?...... \:D/

CNS fried today, cold and hot sweats and I haven't moved from behind my computer here at work. Face looking blotchy and one eye has patch of blood in it....very cool.....war wounds!

To be honest BJ, I didn't like it as it's a real fight to get down to the bar. Different when you have the weight assisting you as in bench and squat, but struggling to even get down to the bar....not cool.

Not about to give up though as I'm guessing the actual DL suits are essentially the same aren't they?

heres what one of the boys said:

iI saw it at the Worlds this year with mainly the Kazaks and Russ/Ukr. I spoke to the Danish and they gave 2 reasons.

A) A super centurion is identical at front and back in regards to seams and cut so putting it backwards you will get a tighter stretch from the non used side as opposed to the used side from squatting

B) Super Cent has a lot thicker material and seams, makes it harder to get down but more pop if you can control your technque.

There you have it.....I just gotta up the effort and fight the suit a little harder....

so if the suit was new it wouldnt really matter what way u wear it?

Back after week of de-loading, didn't post as makes for uninteresting reading!

Super Kat arrived so decided to bring forward metal militia day and give it a go!

Warm up

2 x bar x 20

2 x 60 x 10

100 x 5

120 x 3

140 x 1

150 x 1

Here's where it got interesting.....I should have read the lifting large page fully but my 46 super kat is in fact a 44.

Long story short, after much max effort from Steak....it won't go on. Came to a complete standstill. I can either send it back and get a size bigger, or I can lose some weight. Not really that keen on losing weight a month from the Novice so I'll get a bigger one. Will try and find someone with a 48 and see if I can have a go at getting it on before I order a 48

Steak had an old Katana lying around, 52 I think it was, or 50 with 52 arms (one of Tonka's old shirts).....VERY easy putting it on so this is all about getting a feel for a Katana.

Here we go

180 x 1 (2BD?...can't remember)

200 x 1 (touch)....wow....easy!

220 x 1 (touch)...again....grind at the top

225 x 1 (touch)....missed

I'm excited about the potential of a Katana...once I get one that is comp fitting, even a 50 would be great. Will see what happens!

Some board work (3BD)

180 x 3

190 x 3

200 x 3

200 x 3

Got into a big chat with Wes and Steak so left it at that. Will go in tomorrow for some assisstance work.
