Hi everyone. I was supposed to start a week or so ago but came down with a cold and decided to postpone. I eventually started yesterday.

I must say I am shocked at how useless I have become in 10 years of not hitting the gym. No strength and no muscle endurance. Absolutely terrible! :roll:

Anyways, That shall be sorted in time.

In the meantime, I have a question. I noted last night however I tried, I just couldn't fall asleep after going to bed. And when I eventually did fall asleep, I do not feel like I had any rest at all and much of last night was just a restless roll-around. Above that I am awoken every now and then for a piss (All the water drinking) as well

Any idea what could be causing this? New diet? Supps? Creatine (Loading Phase)

Forgot to say, whilst feeling restless and not being able to sleep, I am actually feeling Anxious as well, like I've shot up on some Ephedrine or something. The feeling of getting out of bed and laying a round into a boxing bag to release the tension etc. Very "NOT NICE" weird feeling.

Ok heres my thoughts on this as i have gone through this as well and go through this sometimes

this applies to when you have worked out in the evening

-your cns is fried and you have really pushed yourself,Your body also is releasing endorphins and adrenalin due to the extreme activity before hand and hence the restlestness,I take some zinc before I sleep.

-The night pisses are due to the creatine ,try to have creatine earlier in the day,once your body is loaded dont think it matters when you have creatine.

- Also dont stuff yourself late in the evening if you have worked your ass off,all your blood is being pumped into your worked muscles leaving your gastric system at a lower priority for blood flow.So all that water that your drinking almost 3 litres of it is having a tough time getting absorbed,your overhydrating your self mate,diluting all your eletrolites no wonder you feel like shit.

heres what you do

5gm creatine in the morning

5gm creatine post

you can have the 33gm whey before workout,dont really need dextrosein the pre workout,have a bannana instead

and 66gm ofwhey and dextrose after workout

about just sip water during the workout,no reall reason to supplement during ,unless you like wasting money.Bcaa makes sense but only if your training fasted. which your not

try it and you feel much better.

I do work out late avo so guess that fits in to evening.

I'll try the advice on the creatine, as I am loading now I can't really only have early, got one more day to go of loading.

Yup, and the three litres of water, thought that would be a problem at first but now I simply drink it because the thirst is killing me. I probably drink about 5-6 litres of water on training days, and just due to thirst.

good luck ,bro I remeber going through the same thing ,man it fucking irritated me,not sleeping ,getting up and pissing ,not good for your muscle,if your not getting good sleep ,which means your stressed the next day ,which means good ole cortisol being released increasing catabolism.

Ahhh,

Well, today I had to roll out of bed.... Slowly.... I must be doing something right. My lower back feels like a truck drove over it (Lots of Dead-Lifts, stiff legg, romanian etc). My tricep is suddenly too short to brush my damn hair. My daughter asked me for a piggy back ride last night.... Yea right!

Anyways, I skipped the "during" training shake and just did the before and after yesterday. Sleeping was better, besides waking every now and then because of the pain. lol. Done with Creatine Loading phase now as well and only taking 5 G a day now.

Good times.
