I competed in the NABBA nationals this year (open athletic short) and I have a few comments, wonderful venue, fantastic audience without you guys coming alone and watching it wouldn’t be the same…yes there where a few “odd” judging decisions but at the end of the day there decision is “it” and no amount of wall punching (from a guy who wasn’t competing and made a dick of himself) can change that…approach the judges (in a nice manner) and get feedback

Look at all the fuss about the ref'ing in the netball at the moment there is always controversy in sport judging lookat boxing sometime and some of the descisions that have come up. I think most judges do a very good job in a difficult situation, but it is not usualy the winners who complain, when that happens maybe something was wrong

late reply as bug on my computer - bugger! Nice feedback and answer. I have been involved myself in the sport for many years and had bad judging and dont get feedback I would like - its the norm! When i have done International shows you get the same bullshit even abroad, just cant get away from it!. End of the day as an athlete you have to be happy what you have done to get up on that stage, doesnt make things better I know, but the sport is teaching lifestyle. I totally agree with MORE communication between athletes, judges and organisers, most email address' for at least organisers are in the NABBA site so email any enquiries, especially who ever was head judge on the day about where the federaton is going! Athletes tend to complain but really need to getinvolved wiht things like judging and see if the grass is greener onthe other side. I judged once and ti wasnt that easy, I felt quite nervous and the criteria really can go out the window by what ends out on stage on that day! :shock:
