gotta love vice magazine.. .

my gal is from baltic europe and its been real interesting meeting her family and hearing the stories about what 50 years of communist russian occupation was (and is still) like. surprisingly her gran would prefer to go back to a soviet state than live with the rife corruption that flows through now. communism wasn't as bad for those on the inside - as us as outsiders have been led to believe.. .

saying that though he was a weird fella eh? and missile testing right now ain't the smartest thing - though perhaps a warning shot to cease any internal power struggle.. .

It should concern you that a country that is teetering on war and also has nuclear weapon is in such an unstable state. Kim jong was intimidating at the best of times, he openly conducted nuclear testing whilst disregarding the wishes of the UN and also threatened nuclear war against anyone who intended to over through is regime, US included. Now his son seems even more like a wildcard, maybe hes not the best person to have his finger on the trigger and have the 4th largest military in his pocket.

just something to think about

north korea does not have the military or economy capacity to invade the south. it may have a large army in terms of manpower, but it is poorly equipped. also it might be developing medium range missiles and nukes, but both are shit atm and nothing compared to what japan and the USA and south korea have in the region.
