In on fishing journal lol. My mate and I have been down to the rakaia mouth twice in the last week after work and just dead drifted those berkley softbaits using braid, the sea runners love them. we caught quite a few up to 7 pounds and we even caught 2 decent flounders and a rainbow! 50m from the ocean :shock:

nice. Think floating down a soft bait will work? i found a decent bit of water in the Shag river(can't fish any of the waitaki atm so am limited).

Decent size your catching. Im just catching small ones atm. 4.6lb Rainbow the biggest so far. Good times. Mrs got a brown last night and it tasted like shit...got to get a smoker to smoke them ones. It had 42 snails in its belly.

Not long till the season opens and am going to have a decent crack at it. 8)

Quads are sore.

Lost a little motivation in the movement (back squat) and was alomst going to cycle in a Front squat. But the fatigued back squats I did yesterday felt real good and Im pretty keen to do some more :wink:

Need to dominate the incline bench sooooo shit at it and i have a shit chest. Although this year I have developed two wee stretch marks on my pecks :shifty: lol

strength and energy feels average...

couple late nights though...

broke my fishing rod this morning..but still caught one lol

Other day got 62x6 overhead press (one less than PR) and did 10more overhead sets and 10 tricep sets

Also missed my first training session in ages (can't remember the last time I missed one) It was Lats/guns

After lots of thinking and some advice from Dr Squat, I am adding knee wraps to prolong my increase in weight used. didn't go full tight, felt ok, I would think I would get 5 without atleast. But I will stick with them for a while and see where i get
