Looking to step up my game.

Hey everyone, just introducing myself.

I'm a christchurch dude who's been lifting weights on and off for a couple of years now. I have put on some muscle but also a lot of fat, my diet has been far from ideal during this time. I am looking to step up my game big time, especially my nutrition.

Im at 93Kgs at about 18% bodyfat, looking to get down to at least 10%, hopefully before the end of summer, and then bulk up. I train at the university and at home where I have a squat rack and some powerblocks.

At the moment im doing a 5 day split. Legs/Chest/Back/Shoulders/Arms, usually in that order, with rest days usually after legs and back. My workouts center around big compound movements like Squats, Deadlifts, Presses, Rows and Chinups. Trying to eat about 2500-3000cal/day coming mostly fron Oats, Milk, Fruit, Veges, Eggs, Chicken and Whey.

Keen as to learn as much as I can from everyone, sounds like theres a ton of great advice on this site.

Cheers everyone :)

mean, i train there too.. such a sweet gym for $100 a year. good see some solid structure with your training, i feel like 90% of the people in the rec center are aimless and just sit on the equipment. all the best with your training. give us a PM if ya need a spotter haha.

Sounds good dude cheers for the welcome, always keen to train with, and learn from someone more experienced. Yeah its weird how so many people stand around doing not much. I guess its good for us though cos the squat racks and leg press etc are nearly always free when I go :D

The general public can still go but costs like 350(not sure but super cheap) a year.

You must have fancy gym with AC and treadmills with TVs.
