forgot to add + phaggot pt asking if we can do racks from the floor because of the noise... no phaggot we cant

lol forgot to add rack pulls are called rack pulls because they are not deadlifts. thought a p.t would know this lol. also forgot to add TLAF pulled a robbery :pfft:

I know how u feel about ur injury man.. I'm in the same boat.. think I fucked around with it for too long though and now it's chronic! make sure u let that thing heal properly eh

I do too dude! I still can't squat and its been 6 months + :( Is extremely frustrating huh! Yeah rest it up, you don't wanna do more damage aye! Hope gets better soon!

yep thanks. im just basically doing everything the physio says and avoiding anything that aggrovates.

he said itll either be gone within the next couple of weeks :pray: , or itll be one of those things that will always be niggling away :madman:

tbh its more annoying than anything but feels like one of those things that might just "go" if not taken care of early.

we trained at YMCA mt albert aka shit hole tonight

haha, never trained at one of them before.. some of the YMCA gyms look okay tho from the outside lol like that new one in northcote

yeah its alright in all honesty. and especially for the price etc. obviously it cant compare to les mills. i still have 4 visits left there, when are we gonna have that train?

Oh mate, you've got no idea! From someone who used to squat every single week without fail, i loved my squat rack!

I've just resigned myself to the fact that it's not gonna happen :( but at least now i'm able to jump on the hack squat & leg press without any dramas so at least that's something :) I had leg doms all weekend and couldn't be happier lol, can only say that to people like us, everyone else thinks we're weird :wink: haha

lol yep. my leg doms last atleast 5 days and i try do about 15 sets of different squat variations each time..aint nothin like it lol

Arms at Les Mills Takapuna with a few bodybuilding mates tonight. their gym so just did their routine.

biceps..

Standing DB curl - 4 sets

Preacher curl - 4 sets using forced reps

hammer curls with cables - 3 sets using drop sets

straight bar curl with cables - 3 sets

triceps...

rope push downs - 4 sets

overhead ext machine - 4 sets using drop sets/forced reps

close grip bench press - 3 sets

single arm cross body cable extension - 2 or 3 sets

BW was 98.4kg after the workout and PWO shake..so weight is going up slowly as planned.

tomorrow is legs in the city with IDW, should be good

trained legs with IDW, SG and android at les mills city.

afterwards went to xtreme nutrition and met Moe. asked him a few questions and he took me and 3 other guys into his personal gym. he got me to pose for him which i am buzzing about. he was very impressed with my legs and gave me some good advise/exercises to improve my chest that never grows \:D/

a lot of guys dont like moe but after meeting him today i have a lot of respect for him and hope to talk to him again in the future :D

lat pull down 4 sets

tbar row 3 sets

db row 3 sets

standing cable pull downs 4 sets

close grip lat pull down 3 sets

DONE.

weighed 98.6 after PWO protein shake and 2 bananas..happy with that and happy with my rack pulls. chest tmo, lets see how the delt holds up :pray:

SHOULDERS AND TRAPS

had a good workout tonight which was surprising cause my shoulders injuries have been shit lately due to my injury and i was tired from working heaps. trained with a mate for the first time tonight and its amazing how hard you can push yourself when training with someone new. still on high reps/low weight due to the injury but thats ok just focussing on the constant tension and feel of the muscle

standing side laterals 4 sets with a triple DS

smith machine press 5 sets with triple drop set

db press starting light and going up and then back down without stopping for 1 set

machine side laterals 2 sets

rev pec dec

also did a cable exercise for front delt/inner chest ss with a cable prone row and finished with bb shoulder shrugs for 4 or so sets

my weight is stuck on 98.6kg and isnt budging..this is after my PWO shake and carbs. hopefully will increase somewhat after a few days or else will have to smash some serious calories like TWL

BACK

rack pulls - 220kg for 6reps (PB)

lat pull down - 3 sets w/1 drop set

BB row - 3 sets w/1 ds

standing cable pull downs with rope - 4 sets w/1 ds

close grip (V bar) lat pull downs -3 or 4 w/1 ds

seated cable row - 3 or 4 w/1 ds

very good pump today and backs fried. rack pulls felt really heavy so im going to lighten the weight a bit next week and attempt more reps. depending on leg DOMS i might go back to normal deadlifts.
