not a disorder as such - but heightened cortisol levels can keep me staring at the ceiling for half the night. tried http://www.sleepdrops.co.nz and they work an absolute treat. was skeptical about them (as with most of these kinda things) but i'll happily eat my hat.. .

works out about $82 inc delivery for the night drops - and these can last 1-2 months.. .

no problem. i actually forget to take them alot - have them on the bedside cabinet to remind me. any dependancy would be psychological - they are purely herbal - but once you've started sleeping better you don't really need to continue with them. they just knock you onto the right line again.. .

i think the main mineral for good sleep is magnesium - so if you continue having issues you could look at your intake of this also.. .
