I think its a positive thing Opti, BBers should be able to watch / support other BBers in shows regardless of political affiliations.

I'm not aligned to any one federation and have attended NABBA NAC, NABBA-WFF & NZIFBB shows this year. When I compete and I'm a member of one (or two) of the federations I'll continue to do the same. Execs should be free to do the same - who knows they might even learn something from the 'opposition' while they're there!

ex execs?

I think it's always been ridiculous that you can't watch shows or compete in different feds. I know Nabba was never like that but the NZFBB used to be. We have a similar issue here with our IFBB affiliated NPC. Even guys who compete in one fed and have clients who compete in another get frowned upon for attending those other shows.

The same occurs in PA / CAPO powerlifting in Aussie. Training partners cannot help CAPO guys backstage for fear of being banned from PA. How crazy is that?!

nate225 thanks for including me in you list of current bodybuilders that impress you. For me personally it has taken 25 years of hard slog to get to where i am now. Pity in some respects that I have now just turned 51 and find it a real struggle most mornings just to get out of bed after a hard session in the gym but hey its all self inflicted and I love it. you are an absolute inspiration to us younger guys Phil, best of luck at the worlds!

What is it with the older guys and conditioning at the moment? You have Phil K, Peter Hunt, Mark Dryer and Brian Mcfarlane All bringing the best condition of the entire show and they are into thor 40s or 50s? I guess by that stage you know your body pretty well and how to bring it into a show.

Totally agree!!! Plus I think you don't struggle as much with the discpline of dieting. I find it so much easier than I did when I was a young guy. Not that I am old.... yet.....
