Most importantly, make sure you aren't reducing your calories too much from what you were eating before.

Regarding routines, two good proven routines are Baby Got Back (4 day) and HCT-12 (has templates for 3, 4 and 5 days). Check out wannabebig.com routines section for them

EDIT: most people find heavier lower volume stuff more suitable on a cutting diet to avoid overtraining and hold on to muscle
