Close Grip With Chains: 150x5, 100x40, 100x50

Incline Tricep Extension: 30x10, 40x10, 50x10, 40x20, 40x20

Single Arm Cable Pressdowns: 3 sets of 20/20/20 - 18kg

Band Pressdowns: 3 sets of 30 - Green

Lots of reps today haha, the high rep sets on the Close Grip came from a bit of competitiveness between the group and then we couldn't let the other win so did another :lol: On the cables, we hit up Underhand Grip, Overhand Grip and then a Push Down Grip to really fry the Tris, safe to say it did it's job :nod:

Straight Arm Pulldowns: 4 sets of 25 - 36kg

Ez Bar Curls/Close Preachers: 6 sets of 10/10 - 27kg

Cable Concentration Curls: 5 sets of 15 - 18kg

Decent biceps session, just smashed through it, wee bit of wrist pain (dunno what from, maybe pressing on the weekend ?) so chucked on a wrap for most sets but otherwise just pumped it up and fucked some shit up :nod:

Front Delts

Seated Front Press: 10 sets of 8 - 80kg

Machine Press: 5 sets of 15 - 48kg

Behind The Neck Smith: 5 sets of 10 - 50kg

Bradford Press: 3 sets of 10 - 40kg, 1 set of 10 - 50kg

Surprised with the Deadlifts, 10 was easy as, could have kept going but just called it at 10, might try and keep the reps at 10 this whole cycle just for the lols :pfft: Everything else felt good last night. Shoulders this morning was mean, getting back up to some heavy weight on Front Press, aim for 95-100kg in the next couple weeks. None of the volume on the other pressing got any easier :lol:

Just checked this out, wow it's cheap on there !! Whats the shipping like ?

shipping is fucking excellent, and quick. got email the next morning saying it was couriered and is at airport. if order weighs less than 4lbs shipping is dirt cheap, over 4lb is still cheap tho.

Saw this on Youtube and decided to give it a shot, as man reps as you can do with an empty bar.. Turns out it's pretty painful :pfft:

Guna try for 140 next week, see if I can do it, break through the pain, come at me big arms :lol:

Saturday a.m.

Quads

Squats: 157.5x10

Hack Squat: 4ppsx6, 3ppx8, 2ppsx10

Lunge: 3 sets of 10 - 40kg

Leg Extension: 3 sets of 50 - 42kg

Hack Calf Raise: 1ppsx12, 2ppsx10, 3ppsx10, 3ppsx10, 3ppsx10

Good first session back on 5/3/1 Squats, called it at 10 reps, could have got 15 or so I reckon but wanted to make it through the rest of the session and not throw up valuable calories :lol:

It's an interesting point- do you go to failure or stop at a predetermined number of reps. Wendler is not decisive on it either. I tend to agree with having a rep or two in the tank. The goal is continuous improvement and this will still result. Other thoughts?

Well I'll put my point of view in the 5/3/1 thread, more people are likely to see it then, or maybe not I mean I'm pretty popular and lots of people read my journal.... Not :pfft:

Chest

Bench: 115x10, 5 sets of 8 - 100kg

Incline DB Bench: 55x6, 45x28, 45x20

Cable Press/Cable Crossover: 3 sets of 15/15 - +6chains/18kg

Mint session on Bench, the guys were doing volume on Bench so I just hit that with them after my top set, felt good. DBs, 60s next week, light weight buddy !! Sorting out my form on this, making sure I go right down and get a big stretch, the pump speaks for itself :pfft: The high rep sets are getting rediculous, they hurt more than anything haha.

truthfully, my missus ordered some makeup and shit so i jumped on, but will defo be using it regularly. i just got 2 tubs of that aminoX shit you guys are always peeling back. Each tub came with a free shaker and was NZ$25. but they stock a heap of stuff - have a geez. also if you google, first time customers get a $10 voucher aswell, and a discount if its over $60.

Good pump in the back this morning, must be all that extra food that's going in !! Getting stronger on everything and feels like I'm getting bigger so must be doing something right haha

Seated Alternating DB Curls: 5 sets of 10 - 15kg

Rope Curls: 5 sets of 12 - 42kg

DB Preacher Curls: 5 sets of 10 - 12.5kg

Wrists were a tad niggly so stuck to DBs and the Rope, hurt to do any Bar or Ez Bar work so just did what I could, still got a mad pump and definitely think I found some new stretch marks :lol:

Good session yesterday, must have been trying to kid myself that I hadn't put on weight and had my belt on one notch too tight so started feeling sick about halfway through my Deadlift set.. Still an easy 8 but had to stop cos I felt like shit haha, will know better for next week.

Good Mornings and Reverse Hacks are getting pretty heavy, feelsgoodman.jpg, get some big fucking Hammys. I always get a reality check with Coach, his Lower Back sticks out like nothing else, his erectors are rediculous !! Can even feel striations in it.. When will it be my turn.. :pfft:

Thursday A.m.

Front Delts

Seated Front Press: 5 sets of 8 - 90kg

Machine Press: 5 sets of 15 - 48kg

Behind The Neck Smith Press: 5 sets of 10 - 50kg

Bradford Press: 5 sets of 10 - 50kg

Upright Row: 5 sets of 10 - 50kg

Good session this morning, as the weight is geetting heavier we are reducing the volume on the Front Press, 90kg was relatively easy this week (it's still 90kg on an overhead press :lol: ) but keen for 100kg next week, I'm busy playing catch up, Surya and Jamie both did 100kg and Coach cracked out an easy 110kg so gotta catch up haha.

I know my progress is measured by strength on the Front Press but I was rather glad I got to all my sets of 50kg on Bradford Press today, it's fucking rediculous how much that thing hurts !! Feels good to be getting stronger on the accessory stuff too.

Good session to finish off the Delts, definitely seeing some improvements in this area, I think they are loving the increase in volume and pressing especially. All up did 40 sets for Shoulders yesterday and they aren't even sore today, just definitely growing !!

Friday A.m.

Triceps

Close Hammer Strength Incline: 5 sets of 10 - 4pps

Tricep Superset: 5 times through, 5 exercises, 20 reps on each

Band Pressdowns: 5 sets of 30 - Black

Mad pump this morning, come at me massive arms !! Chucked the Black band up today for pressdowns, dam you can get some tension in that thing, was a lot harder than the Green one, as expected given we skipped Blue :pfft:
