Delt carnage down at Eastside today ! Bit of a light session but dam son, must be doing something right !

Easy 5x5 on Front Press today with 100kg, like a bawce. Neutral Grip DB Press and One Arm DB Upright Rows hit the Front Delts perfect ! Seated Side Raises and Cable Side Raises made up some extra volume and made the bodybuilder in me feel like I had done something :pfft: Finished up with super setting Reverse Pec Dec and Face Pulls, Traps and Rear Delts pumped up like there was no tomorrow, guna be a fun night at work, will have my shoulders around my ears all night :lol:

Dem Triceps ! Mean session, didn't feel quite as tight as I like to on the Bench but was good enough, reps were still easy as fuarkkkkkkk.

10x10 on Close Grip, then into some random sets of Tri Bar Pressdowns, ended doing 200 reps on it, working with the full stack for most of it. One Arm DB Extensions to stretch out the pump that was most definitely developing.. Think it just made it worse ! Finished up with 150 reps on the bands, easy workout but feels good.

Big Squats tomorrow kind of, time to hit this bitch !! :lol:

Legs day ! Ah Waddup !

Smashed it, easy 5 at 200 on Squats, will get vid up soon just gotta wait for one of the boys to send it to me. Flew up, although as I kept doing reps I got deeper and deeper on each one, they were all legal depth but usually just hit that and come back up, I swear on my last one my Hammys were on my Calves :lol: So fell forward a little on the last couple but nothing like I used to. Hit some Pause Squats and High Bar Squats afterwards, just doing anything to get the bar on my back more :pfft: After this it was all isolation just to satisfy the bodybuilder in me but not ruin the peaking side of things. Leg Extensions, Leg Curls and Hack Calf Raises left me walking funny out of the gym.

Good day at the office once again !

Rest day yesterday, felt good, just wanted to train but it's all part of the plan !

Chest day Monday ! Aesthetics come at me ! Hit up Bench first, 140 for an easy enough 5, all comp legal minus the pause, so happy with where I'm at right now. After this got 5x10 at 120kg on Narrow Grip, smashed it ! Tried out some Neutral Grip pressing on a Low Incline with DBs after this, high reps, Tris felt mean and pumped up the Chest a little so felt good. After this was just Tri City ! French Press, Bike Racks and Rope Pressdowns, feels mean.

This week is guna be the final sessions before Canterbury Champs, triples here we come !

Favourite session of the week, Lats and Bis ! Pump was insane !

Hit 10x10 on Wide Pulldowns first up, just repping the stack :lol: Went for Rows next, DBs up first, high rep sets then some lower rep sets of Close Grip Seated Row. Finished Lats off with some Straight Arm Pulldowns with the rope, has got to be one of my favourite movements in the gym ! Hit some high rep Barbell Curls for Biceps, just chilled out really, sets of 20 or around about. Just to get some pump action going on :lol:

Looking forward to Deads tomorrow, come at me brah !

PB all up in this bitch ! Psyched Atm, Deads went really well !

Easy Triple at 260kg, couldn't have asked for better ! Came away from the bar and everyone was like "wtf you made that look so easy, why you not do any more.." So big improvement from last time I tried this weight and missed it at Nats :lol:

Few accessories, Romanians, Pull Throughs (Always a crowd pleaser when everyone wants the cables for Chest etc :pfft: ), Seated Good Mornings and Speed Deads, Back feels mean !

Got a vid but it's on Fb and not sure if Fb vids work on here so you guys will have to wait for my comp vid to see some more weight being pulled.

The vids from Squats and Deads over the weekend are on one of the other boys phone, so won't be able to chuck them up but will try get some this weekend.

Amping right now, bring on some more weight !

Bit of Delt work tonight, couple PBs too so can't complain :pfft:

Started with Seated Front Press, hit 110 for 5, felt fucking heavy ! So dropped down to 100, got 8 so happy with that too, 2 PBs to stat out the session. Neutral Grip DB Press next, just hit some lighter reps. Then Side and Rear Delts, variety of Side Raises and then some Face Pulls and Reverse Pec Dec to finish off a decent session, needs figure out how to get these things to get bigger how I want them haha. They're definitely getting bigger and more shape but yea want them now ! As does everyone :grin:

Will see how many people actually read this, got a couple of pics I decided to take the other day, feeling like I could put them up here even though I'm a fat Powerlifter and will probly get ripped to shit :lol:

After this was just cable work, did some Pressdowns with a square handle, some Bike Racks and some Pressdowns with the Rope.

In between all of this was stretching on the Smith Machine, felt epic, and made more room to get more blood in there !

Legs today, keen as fuarkkkkkkk !!

Haha, definitely guna be feeling it tomorrow !,

Hit 220kg for a triple ! Wrapt with that, have never had that kinda weight on my back before so to get a triple I'm stoked ! After hitting that though just kinda chilled with Pause Squats, Leg Extension, Leg Curl and Calves. Time to get fresher for comp. Bench on Monday and then that's basically it for me till the 20th.

Last big session been and gone.

Bench hit 150 for a double, was going for a triple but slight technical error with rushing the second rep and flaring my elbows gassed me and left no energy for the third.. Still a PB and still definitely aiming for 160kg this weekend, will make sure form is spot on. Some Narrow Grip, Neutral DBs and Band Pressdowns and I was done.

Getting in for a light session on Wednesday just to keep fresh, then that's it till Saturday, will be ready to kill it, already itching to get it done !

Sorry delayed post comp summary, Internet fucked up at the flat again...

Comp day was the business !!

First up Squats, opened on an easy 200kg, 2nd was 220kg and for the third took the leap and went 240kg... Nailed it ! Felt awesome on my back, it was coming up no matter what. The improved form definitely brought this one home, will be the lift to watch out for in the months to come !

Bench up next, opened 140kg easy, then 150kg, then the third 160kg, smashed it ! Confidence was high from Squats and felt tight as so was pretty happy with it. 20-25kg above my previous comp PB so can't complain !

Lastly Deads, the crowd pleaser haha. Opened on 240kg, might as well have been a speed rep, then went 260kg, nailed that too, went with the plan and loaded up 280kg for the third, destroyed it, smooth as ! So wrapt with that, was kinda worried the conditioning wouldn't hold up and I'd be too tired by this stage but smashed it.

So overall summary, comp was epic. Weighed in at a slim 111.85kg so little lighter than usual but was expecting that with the morning weigh in and no clothes etc. was feeling good coming into it, confidence was high from the previous weeks training. Ended up with 680kg total, lifted Raw. Went 9/9 lifts so rather happy with that. Wrapt with how it all went. Awesome day, great comp, organised well too.

Back to the hard yards now, having a few weeks of higher volume training to try build up some bodyweight and then back into 5/3/1 with my twist to build the strength up and hit early 700s at Nationals.

Cheers boys, was a mint day, really happy with the results !

Shot for putting that accessory work up bro, gotta love it when powerlifters get drunk :pfft:

Been back at training since Tuesday, keeping it pretty chilled this week, back into it hard next week.

Doing high volume and a few different movements over the next 3-4 weeks, just to give the body a rest etc then will go back into 5/3/1 with the new maxes from comp (more like 8/5/3).

Still been going hard in the gym !

Last week was an intro back into high volume training, just getting the body used to it again, so hopefully conditioning etc won't hold me back too much over the next few weeks !

First session on 10x10 on Chest today, started with an easy 100kg, easy as, then some Low Incline DBs, Incline Bench and Dips finished it off for Chest. Did a bit of Tricep work, just a little cable Tri-set, get the blood pumping !

Keeping it pretty light these first few weeks then will be working into some heavier high volume stuff for a couple weeks, will get pretty rough but I'm sure the body can handle it, looking to add that extra bit of bodyweight on !
