Posterior Chain tonight, sped this up too, feels good brah, will sort out the volume on this day too, time to actually start training like a bodybuilder with the right intensity.

Hit some Box Squats, 180 for a triple, nice and easy. Then Good Mornings, Romanians, Leg Curls and Back Extensions, done and dusted, Hammys felt good with the increased pace, maintained a mean pump the whole workout even though the weights were light, guna be fun over the next few weeks.

Shoulders tomorrow, time to really test the conditioning (Quads will be the worst) Let's see how it goes !!

Lol, can bench 140 for 10 but can't hit 155 for a single.. Strong reps are strong.

Well on the census I put down Other and write in "Natty"

can't a nigga have a bad lift? the bar was about 3inches higher up my chest than normal. lifted 155+ many a time. and to call your reps half reps would be generous. :poked:

Haven't been on in ages ! Internet isn't hooked up at the new flat yet, Orcon are being fuckers..

Anyway training is going pretty well, sitting around 115-116kg in the afternoon last I checked, will have another check end of this week and rejudge from there.

Am limiting my reps on 5/3/1, have turned it into 8/6/5. Feels good, just hitting the prescribed reps and moving on, building confidence !

Hit 142.5kg for an easy 5 on Bench, feeling pretty good about singles come comp time. May have a wee bit of a tester comp at a local supplement shop the weekend before Canterbury's, they are having a 1RM bench comp and you win some supps so why not go give it a crack and just hit my opener or something, probably still beat everyone :pfft:

Have changed my Squat stance a bit. Did that 195x9 last cycle, but my hips were my worst enemy, they were getting quite sore and it wasn't sustainable to carry on with that kind of form. It was too wide for a Raw squatter at my level, I have brought my stance in and have turned my feet slightly more forward instead of out. Will take some getting used to, but it feels tight as at the bottom, the strength will come. Even with this change I hit 200kg for 5 last week. Feeling good for singles on this too.

Deads I just missed the 5 reps last week, hit 250kg for 4 solid reps then stalled the last one right near the top. Was a wee bit pissed but still a PB and felt good, just technique got sloppy so my shoulders ended up in front of the bar. All good though, still feel good for a late 200s come comp time, speed from the bottom has definitely built up.

Got one more cycle of 5/3/1 to do then 2 spare week before a full deload before comp. Will see how I feel then as to what I plan on doing but could be time for some speed work or something, I haven't decided yet.

Home from an epic Lats session this morning. Started off with 10 sets of 10 on Close Neutral Pulldowns, will trial starting with a Close Grip movement, felt pretty good this morning. Hit Barbell Rows, Meadows Rows and Straight Arm Pulldowns afterwards. Big volume with stretching between exercises makes for a big pump !! Biceps tonight, will be mint !

Haha, actually did that exact exercise !

Hit a Double Ladder on Barbell Curls first up, worked up to an easy couple sets with 60kg, feeling good. DB Preachers followed up then just some Seated DB Curls finished it off, arms were fucked.. Closet bodybuilder right here.. Well not really a closet, more just using powerlifting as an excuse to not cut down :pfft: Everyone knows I just wanna get swole !

Last night we smashed Posterior Chain. Few new exercises have made for some serious trouble getting out of bed this morning ! Week One for Deads, 225 for an easy 8. Made up the rest of my volume with Good Mornings, Ghrs, Pull Throughs and finished up with Seated Good Mornings. Couple new exercises where people watching wondered wtf I was doing but it felt good, hopefully spur some new gains in this department.

Hit Front Delts this morning, Seated Front Press with an easy 10x10 at 60kg started it off. Then some Db Press, Seated Front Raise and then some Alternating Front Raises made for a pretty decent pump. Feeling good for the coming weeks. Will hit some Side, Rear and Traps tonight, get my pump on so I look swole in my suit at work haha.

Lol, no training over the weekend. Went away on Friday over to the Coast to work at a bar while Wildfoods was on. Came back Sunday with a mighty hangover, got free access to the bar on Saturday night after work, hit me hard haha. Anyway hit Chest and Legs yesterday, felt okay, definitely not my A Game though.

Lats this morning and Biceps this evening, felt a whole lot better, smashed it !! Big pumps in both workouts.

Deadlifts tomorrow, 240 is the top set, lets go !!
