So pretty much one year ago i first started to incorporate healthy eating and fitness into my life.

This is what i have achieved in a year, ideally i would like to have packed on more muscle but im still happy with the progress i have made.

Weight difference between photos = 23kgs

I was a big fat blob. The worst kind fat and weak as f*ck i literally could not even do one proper push up when i started so i have had to build up from ZERO muscle. Yes i no at the moment i still dont have much muscle and look like a skinny c*nt but im going to continue training and get bigger :)

and yes i do train my legs but they look tiny in photos so not putting them up haha

Hi mate,

Fantastic transformation!!!

You have improved so much, fixed your poster and I'd say you've increased your natural test.

Dont listen to people if they call you skinny, you'll beef up.

I don't know if you kept the stretch marks but I brought a bottle of Zinc tabs off shotgun supps for $10.00 which fixed mine :D

How many pressups can you do now?

Thanks for the positive feedback everyone

@milkisforbabies

What i did is when i started i sort of eased my self into eg doing cardio 2 times a week and cut back a little on my eating. Instead of going all out straight away into working out 5 times a week and being extremely strict with my diet. This is where alot of people fail they make such a dramatic change and cant stick to it longer than a few weeks.

So if you just starting out ease in to it and make gradual changes to your diet and exercise over a month or so.

I have done this all by my self with out a workout partner which at times has been very hard to get motivation. So if you can find a friend or family member who wants to improve their body go though it together and help motivate each other.

Since i didnt have a workout buddy i used alot of workout dvds mainly the p90x programme (if you do a search it isnt to hard to download it free, but be careful about the new internet law )

These dvds kept me going in the early stages, p90x also included a workout schedule (there are also heaps of other good ones out there so again do a quick search) which kept me accountable and motivated me not to miss a workout.

Take pictures, i have taken pictures once a month since i started and this in its self is a big motivator.

DONT LOOK FOR SHORTCUTS and magic pills, i did alot of this to start with trying to find the easy way to get to my goal. But plain and simple none of those bullshit infomercial machines work and same with pills there is no magic pill that you can take that will make you loose weight if your diet is shit. So focus your energy on putting in the hard work in your training and eating. Dont get sucked into buying expensive supplements either if your goal is losing weight you dont really need any. spend it on a pair of nice running shoes or a set of dumbbells instead.

Count your calories. i didnt do this to start with but wish i did. It makes it so much easier if you know exactly how much food your putting in. If you not losing weight drop a few hundred cals of your daily amount. i use myfitnesspal http://www.myfitnesspal.com it also has a iphone and android app so you can do it where ever.

At the end of the day the ONLY way to lose weight is to burn more cals than you consume end of story. You could be working your ass of in the gym every day running for 2 hours but if your cal intake is higher or the same as your cals burnt then you will not lose any weight.

Anyway thats just some of the things that worked for me im also still pretty new to the whole fitness lifestyle so i may have said some things that are incorrect so if i have experienced guys feel free to correct me

This is so very true, good on you for realising it and managing to continually make the gradual changes you needed to
