Mint.

The Magpies Gym seemed a logical choice for the RWC teams to use given it is set up for Rugby player......HOWEVER they sent their Manager & Marketing (?) people to decide gyms and they took the shiniest gym and had to build an Oly platform and then took half our weights!!! :pfft:

Maybe they just didnt want them mixing with me! Anyway off to watch Japan vs Canada - just look for 100 of use in stands wearing Japanese jerseys & hats (plus 60 on embankment) - big ups to work!!

Apparently RWC did a deal with City F for all teams, they went into the one in Dunners and walked out, they were suppose to have platforms and certain specs for the touring teams. They just moved some equipment off the rubber flooring and said that was the platform.

Magpies would have been the perfect set up Nate.

Good on Scotland!! They trained at the best strength building facility in the country (no arguement), its a shame other NZ's elite teams or individuals in Welly (or when visiting the capital) dont take up the opportunity to train there.

They had a pretty good time T, played on everything and they were pretty stoked to train here. They were a bit apprehensive for their first visit, you know Power-lifters Gym, but after the first day they were like regulars.

Friendly bunch, talked to all the members, pretty good guys signed stuff for the kids, and like drizzt said packed all there weights away when they finished.

Got the signed Scotland Flag and Jersey for the wall.

He is still tutoring out at Weltec, got hernia issue at the moment I think so training is still down, he still comes in for heavy sessions.

Nice vids! Awesome power and explosiveness...

Yeah Harry, was quite impressed with their lifts, you could tell the ones who really liked and had lifted for a while.
