Is deca worth using for less than 12-15 weeks?

anyway back on subject!!! im all for comedy but this WBJ shit is just getting old and its not even funny giving him shit anymore.

i have known lotsa guys who have used deca on 8 and 10 week cycles with test and gained really well. obviously longer would be better but longer has its cons as well as its pros. so definitly still worth it.

Same here Tom... No reason why you can't use it for just 8-10 weeks, usually your body starts to play catch-up by about this time anyway... So unless you start to increase the doses, you don't notice the same increase in gains....

And keeping your cycle relatively short you don't tend to experience too many of the sides..............

interdasting about the short cycles you guys are doing. Is it the same with EQ though? ie still usefull in 12 weeks, or is it " a waste of time less than 16 weeks"?

I pretty much only do short cycles... 8-10 weeks. If you start out taking whetever mg of EQ and keep that protocol for 16 weeks, by week 2 your receptors have started to downgrade on it so by week 16 you ain't getting anything. Hence the reason guys change drugs or increase doses every 2-4 weeks. Well that's how I do things anyway.

im suggesting running 200-400mg of test along-side 600-800mg of tren. plenty of people do this, ive done it - why is it so taboo?

Rammy you done 1g+ of gear and 800 tren?!?!? WTF!

the reason why im not making significant progress is because for a long time now ive had a posterior rotation in my right hip and a protruding inferior right shoulder.

No excuses mate, heaps of peeps have shoulder issues!

Lol, Nick David... the man. So good at his job he had to make a fame name change

lol...yeah i used tren a at around that dose, along with 100mg of anavar. within days off test, i was about to go crazy; you need testosterone; you need aromatization to occur, as i already stated. even 200-400mg will suffice - try it. people think tren is a devil, and thats because they dont understand it, at all.

i dont have any injuries whatsoever. i have immense posture problems running down one side of my body. how is that an excuse? you think i never asked myself why i wasnt making the progress i expected from my dedication, hard work ethic and pounding down 5000+ clean cals a day?

i gotta admit, since changing my training up last week, ive gone up in strength considerably. yeah, this tren is ridiculous, the half life is only just showing its colours and its becoming more pronounced day by day; however, the volume reduction alone has allowed me to not only tap into my strength, but also utilize the gear for more power/endurance.

steroids cant make you strong if you cant lift properly. i got so wrapped up into this high-volume/hypertrophy shit, thinking that those extra reps would account for something, especially while on steroids - that was far from the truth. those extra reps only had me pre-fatiguing and exaggerated my weak posture.

ill tell you right now, last week i did incline dumbbell press for the first time in a long time. not only did i expect my forearms to give out, but also to not able to kick them up. well, i managed to hit the 40kgs for a few solid reps, along with a 30kg hanging dip - i was quite impressed, mind you ive been as high as 2 plates and a pair of chains on my neck - thats about 60kg.

on my following workout of legs, i was able to do 120kg on stiff legged deadlifts which i havent done in a long time - lately id burn out on 80-100kgs - i did that for 6 pause reps, holding the last rep for a good stretch. i then done 20kg walking dumbbell lunges and they were easy. had a great controlled stretch with perfect balance. i then tried 25's which was too high of a jump. that was a bit shaky to say the least, and very much a waste of time. it could have been because i had a lengthy break and lost the pump in my legs. maybe i should have just tried 22.5s?

today i managed to deadlift 180 for 4 reps. i havent been able to deadlift right or heavy for a long time; i also did more reps than intended on all my sets, and although the gear is forgiving in that regard, i lost alot of top end strength. i also done some hanging pull ups with 10kgs for 4 sets - ive been as high 30kgs in the past, but not only am i easing myself back into all this, and need to build my strength back up, i also focused on the stretch - ive always done hanging pull ups and dips in a pause rep-like fashion. i also done a 6 plate tbar row and played with the 50kg dumbbells (rows) to conclude.

im surprised how a reduction in volume, holistically speaking, can really set you, or at least me, up for a good workout. i think im generally suited for power. hopefully this summer will be a different story.

anyway, enough rambling. maybe ill make a journal.

heres a pic i took after my deadlift session today - not much of a swell but oh well!

Hey Harry, have I read that correctly that by week 2 you're starting to get receptor downgrade..?

With regards your second point changing drugs...? As testosterone is the foundation of any cycle, & test is test whether its on the Prop, enanth, or cyp ester.... How is it possible to change drugs..? are you suggesting that maybe switching from a slow acting ester like Enanth' to Prop half way through a cycle may have a better effect ..?

Or are you suggesting switching from say Deca to Equip' & chucking in a few orals....?

I've found increasing the test after week 8 every couple of weeks, plus throwing Proviron in to lower SHBG & as an anti-E, seems to work well for me... never thought of switching compounds completely as its not what you read in the popular steroid literature...

But the more the years go on the less I seem to get out of a cycle that 10 or 20 years ago would have blown me away...

The way forward seems to be using less rather than more doses, but selecting compounds to work synergistically for better effect.....

Are you not seriously embarrassed to post pictures? it barely looks like you lift/eat? Oh sorry I forgot it's not about food it's about drugs and time right? You honestly need to get your head read mate! I've met more than my fair share of people with pathetic physiques that think they are massive but you really take the cake. Your doing EVERYTHING wrong.

I am truly flabbergasted at how you think you are in a position to give advice.... Keep telling your self it's not about food and devote all your time trolling pubmed for scientific studies brah, good luck with your hypertrophy goals in 2011
