Blood pressure, cholesterol and I always get kidney and liver enzymes and function.

This.

I had mine done around Feb, then a follow up again on Saturday. Febs results showed I had the best cholesterol, my liver was mint, but my kidneys were straining. Too much creatinine in the blood. Made sense then, because I was getting mad fatigue, no matter what I did in my life (short of go clean).

I cut out protein to reduce the kidneys processing too much of anything. BCAA instead. Much better. Lactose intolerance made it all a bitch anyways if WPC.

Creatine will always be up if you have higher than normal muscle mass. As will Urea if you're on a high protein diet. Best bet to take a urine test for kidney function - if no protein in urine then your kidneys are functioning just fine despite what distorted creatinine & urea levels would indicate in the normal populus.

Solid! Bodybuilders will always show elevated creatinine levels for exactly the reasons stated by Nate.

how often and what do you get checked? Only thing I worry about is the ticker... What checks can the doc do to put the mind at ease?

Just need to be straight up with your doc bro, tell him about your concerns in regards to using gear and what effect it may have long term. I have spoken to my new doc which I signed up to a few months back in regards to gear, and my concerns of the effects etc. I also gave him dates of when I may be starting back on gear, which wont be until well into late next year maybe...

I also gave him a list of what typed of gear I will most likely be taking and what I have access to.

His reply was to have me in for monthly checks of what Harry stated..liver, kidney..blood pressure etc..

That is the most sensible way to deal with things IMHO, HOWEVER, one warning that I think MuscleNZ commented on was that it could void your health insurance if you had this level of disclosure.

I believe someone had a condition they needed approval for treatment (surgery I think?) but was turned down by insurers for use of non prescribed medicines/drugs.

May pay to see if your Dr is prepared to avoid any notes regarding AAS use going on your file?

this is true nate, when i saw my doc in chch we kept everything off the record but the problem is as soon as you get bloods done its going to show up with high test and cholesterol so i think either way ur kinda fucked because all bloods are kept on file?

Not really my area of expertise TWL but I question whty anyone gets their T levels tested - other than it being a crude way if seeing if T based AAS are legit! If you use AAS (well T-based compounds) it'll be well out of physiological norms range.

High cholestrol on its own cannot be attributed to AAS use or half the NZL adult population would be jacked! :pfft:  I think the high T level is even a bit debatable as to whether it would void insurance policies as from memory the clauses MMZ mentioned related to use of unprescribed meds / drugs. If your notes indicated this (e.g. TWL used 500mg testosterone esters & 200mg Trenbolone per week, self injected) you would be fucked! Just as if your notes indicated you used other recreation drugs I imagine?

A mate of mine got his cholesterol tested mid dbol and test and the doc said they were the highest levels he's ever seen and would be next to impossible to get them that high thru bad diet even if he was 65 LOL.

We have run similar cycles so I'm guesssing mine could be close to that too lol. I just get stressed about heart problems, I can usually feel my heart beat which as I believe is not a good thing

Hey Fella & Happy Birthday....

We're all different, just because your mate showed high for cholesterol doesn't mean you will... Got my bloods done last September whilst on Dbol, Oxys, Test & Boldernone 2100mg/week in total & showed

HDL: 1.10 mmol/L (1.00-3.5)

LDL: 2.9 mmol/L (0.0-4.0)

As mentioned previously you will show high for Serum urea, Serum creatinine, & ALT.....

Your doctor may stress out, but slight elevation above normal is to be expected with your diet and training methodology...

As long as ALP is ok there shouldn't be a problem...

If you can feel your heart beat, its a good thing, it means your not dead... :shifty:

Maybe you should do more cardio, & stop stressing... Its your birthday..

I advise a common sense approach to monitoring - just do it regularly & if you have a particular concern at any given time. Don't stress out over it - as Daz said sometimes worrying about these things too much will be worse for you than anything else!

LOL Classic

I got a whole lot of bloods done for various things whilst coming to the end of my last cycle for surgery and all was normal - in fact better than normal, because I had previously had problems with low red blood cell count. I guess it depends on the amount of gear plus your body, but if you're not going too crazy then I wouldn't be worried about results skewing insurance. So long as doc keeps it on the down low!

Course, if they tested your test levels you'd be fucked - but why would they test those without you asking for them?

some guys' bodies can take it and some cant. your propensity for whatever drug that is concerned is determined by your genetic predisposition.
