hahaha. They aren't really my number one pick. And they can play really well but they aren't consistent. I haven't really seen any of the northern hemisphere teams play either so I reckon ABs. But they didn't put Hosea Gear on the team. Retards.

Samoa would have more chance of winning the Olympic Equestrian than the RWC.

They'll be handy for roughing up a few players before the big games start though and so I'll certainly be watching all their games.

All Blacks havent won the world cup while the games been professional and also while Sth Africa have been in it . They dont seem to pace themselves well towards these one off important games.

Hope they bloody win it though cos I can't wait another f#%king four years.

I've always had a fondness for Argentina and will be supporting them when we go see them play England next Saturday (hubby is English, and I tend to support any other team on principle :pfft: ). Am even attempting to learn the Argentinian national anthem to really get into the spirit!

Of course neither team is likely, but it's fun to have a few other teams to support.

All Blacks are always going to be tough to beat in there own back yard !! Winners of the tri nations have never gone on that year to win the world cup. The world cup final in at eden park australia hasnt won there in over 20years. The all Blacks have an incredible record at eden park, they have won there past 20 test matches. Overall the All Blacks have won 52 of 64 clashes at their Auckland headquarters since 1921.

My fondness for Argentina has stemmed from childhood when I first discovered that side by side there were two countries that looked a bit like my first and last names. Completely simple, childish, and utterly unpolitical :nod: .

Having said that, a person on an English forum I'm on did take my support of Argentina against England in a rugby game personally and politically and think that I was only doing it to have a dig :roll: I'm much simpler than that :pfft:

Oh I'm supporting NZ for the win, but Argentina and Tonga as my teams for fun. And Wales and Scotland because I like their accents. And probably some others too. Depends on who is playing - NZ isn't playing every game, so like in 7s, need to cheer for someone in each game!

Im picking the AB's to coast through to the finals and take it out. If we can field a full strength team we will be very hard to beat especially at Eden Park. If Carter gets injured we're screwed, Colin Slade played terrible against the saffa's our only chance will be chucking Weepu in as cover. Im also picking us to put 20+ points on Tonga for a solid opener.
