I'd say 12-14%. Hard to tell cause we hold fat in different places.

Water retention is most visible around the ankles. Just drop a sock after an hour wearing them and see 2 things:

1. the depth of the impression it leaves behind

2. how long the impression stays for

That aint a scientific measurement btw :-) a tight-as sock will give a different look of course.

I just go off that, no water leaves hardly a mark and if there is one it goes after a minute. Lots of water and there's a deep impression which stays like that for ages.

Here's what water retention looks like...

lol nice! will have to give that a try mate. where do you usually hold most of your water? or is it all dispersed everywhere?

No worries,

Not sure I just notice it on ankles mate, was pointed out to me during prep for a show when I was loading up with water before drying out...you press your thumb into your ankle against the bone and if the "dent" from your thumb stays depressed...you're still holding water.

Hard to push in and create a nice "dent" unless it's against bone somewhere that's why I pick the ankles.

Yeah depends on where you hold your fat bro, looks like you're holding a bit in your midsection and lower back. I'd estimate 14-16% but your best to get a body caliper test done.

Delts, lats and beard looking awesome btw. Still waiting for the full body shot though

na but seriously brah... mirin' hard!

i reckon u could be anything from 12-15%

btw there are so many different caliper skinfold test methods its really hard to know exactly what you are.. the starting number means nothing really just go back to the same person and have it done the same way to see how big or small improvments are...

p.s im good at guessing... when i worked at gym i was meant to measure ppls bodyfat with calipers but just used to pretend to and then guessed then each assesment id just write down a little bit lower bodyfat to make them feel special... u mad?

Chur bro, yeah I seem to hold alot of fat/water around my hips/waist/lower back. Legs are coming bro just still really frustrated with size.

600+ views and 7 responses= not reposting/10

Sadly 590 views were by the Vienna Boys choir and they were unable to come to a consensus on the BF question!

Tend to agree with others that the actual % is not really relevant.

Good size but more definition required- my 2 sene worth

Edema?..."abnormal accumulation of fluid beneath the skin"

It could be but it's gone with diet change and everything returns to normal. I get it (like most others) when taking Deca and reaching my last maximum weight. Water retention is a pretty common side effect for enhanced BBers when they are overweight (I like to call it bulking) so yep you might be right
