Yeah mate the best thing you can do is make a set of rules for yourself regarding alcohol. Research alcohol & bodybuilding and make a decision on what you regard as "acceptable" for yourself.

Personally I will plan say 10 weeks of building muscle where I'll never skip a workout, take supps, eat every 3 hours, consider my macros, sleep, and don't touch the piss. Then take one week off and piss up hard. Or sometimes I'll switch it down a notch say 3 full body workouts a week, lean down a bit & maintain muscle, eat far less like a normal person lol and have a few drinks each week. Then back into it seriously.

I have recently learnt what ''balance in life is'' and why it is important. To me anyway.

All though I love my training/fitness. Alcohole allways seems to slip into the adgender just about every weekend. Damn Ive gotta get ahold of drinking lol

A Mrs seems to be the key resolvent for nearly everything aye bro haha Thats still on. 8)

I just buy a 4 pack of cider, etc. Then that is all I can drink. and maybe once a month, or when at bbq's.

Buy a respectable limit.

If it is about fitting in with the crowd, take a 6 pack of beers and when they have finished, keep filling your last bottle up with water from the bathroom. I did it for years when I was not wanting to ruin my other buzz, but didn't want people to know I was dropping. They always thought I was drunk. lol

Regret is true, too many lost dollars and loss of performance from that sweet sweet alcohol :C

I seem to drink a sneaky 2 bottles and its pretty mean, you have a mean night and dnt remember shit all the next day with a massive hangover but atleast you didnt consume as much empty calories if you brought a 15 box.

In town only get shots it all adds up lol

I get smashed every weekend. I find the main problem for me is it makes u get a shit sleep, and I've heard the sleep you do get is crap quality. Can't be good for muscle recovery..

Make sure to keep up the water when drinking and before bed, this will help ease the hangover as it will rehydrate you. Also I have found taking a multi-vit and some vitamin C before bed helps in the morning too, I think it's mainly the vitamin C though

Wow really? I carry it in a smaller container and put 1-2 scoops in at a time.

I quite like it for taste. Until you've tried LGs EAA blend i guess its just another bcaa supp. There are much worse out there bro lol.

lol yeah LG's EAA+BCAA was death...I gave that + bulk BCAA to a poster on this forum for free (even shipped it to him free of charge that's how horrible it was lol)

I hate you chemo for convincing me to buy xtend...I hardly ever drink it (got water melon too) that stuff tastes too sweet even as 2 scoops vs 750 ml water

its great bro! try not using it as a bcaa supplement but using it to add to your water so u can drink lots of water everyday... not enough people drink enough water, especially ppl like us who need it and it plays an important role in the nutrition aspect of bodybuilding and is often over looked and forgotten about!

i used the xtend watermelon to help me drink more water... i can only drink so much water and i really dont like drinking litres per day but the xtend made it possible for me... 1-1.5 scoops to 2l of water isnt too sweet, makes the water taste like sumthing and works out economical as!
