Ok so diet update time I think, been a little over a month following a very simple eating plan logged in MTs eats. In short things have been going ok I guess didn't really notice how bad I was until you put the camera lens on it (swear is added 20lbs :oops: ) But you can see why I though a diet was necessary to not only feel better about my body but to optimize the gains that would initially come from a 5x5 program. Cheated a bit last week due to the high demand of the toughest week of the program no excuses just a weak mind though overall been pretty good with it.

Pics in rugby shorts taken day 2 of diet and day 1 of 5x5 10/1/12 weighing in at 99.2 kgs before training. Then we have a month later in errr undies and Jeans 7/2/12

101.2 kgs again before training both taken cold, save the pump for final pic :pfft:

This is my 1st time posting pics of myself so will start here as not many people check in anyways though as always constructive comments and advices appreciated.

Big difference man, definite taper which makes everything look better and you got a muscles there bro. Shit you might wind up on a bodybuilding stage at this rate!

I have to say I agree about feeling better when training. I know when I am leaner and lighter I feel like my body is more efficient. More energy and better recovery up to a point. There's a happy medium when I am dieting where I feel like any leaner and my strength goes down the toilet but too much heavier and I just feel uncomfortable.

The changes in the pics look more like 6 months apart. Waist come in, lat spread looking mean. Legs chunky as f*ck. As Harry said you could have a future on a bb stage. If you are Drizz turned that direction and gave as much effort as you do pl it will be lights out game over for everyone else \:D/

Thanks Harry I doubt you'd ever see me on the stage though I would never count it out i'm always looking for a new challenge like moving from Muay Thai to PL could find the transition into BB a bit easier than this has been training mentality and goals wise. Totally makes a difference felt skinny today for the 1st time in a while didn't like it hope to keep chucking some muscle on just need to be patient.

Getting a bit slack with the diet 1 cheat is turning into 2-3 so will need to tighten up for the next pic update.

Thanks SG I really doubt that but thanks, My body I found is unique in the sense that it reacts very quickly to what I put in it and give. Eat junk for a week get fat vice versa diet exercise lean out. I struggle with anything over 3 reps these days though acquiring strength and size as you and HB have done would be the ultimate goal for me in a few years time best of both worlds :nod:

That's all I had time for today went to Cfit f*ck I hate that place with a passion. The only thing it's got going for it is a few hot chicks even then don't go to perv (anymore)

My bros wanted some tips for bench so helped out where I could took them from atrocious to not bad in the one session just focusing on a few easy things like how I started shoulders tight, arch, legs firm, leg drive, hand placement and breathing. Naturally had to jump in do a few sets to demonstrate but was worth it. Quickly banged out the rest before it was time to head back into work gives me the arvo off atleast. Turks were a no go no room there won't worry too much about dropping that.

Another good start to the week everything starting to gel I feel. Decided to up the Squats to 1rm of 200kg something i've been thinking on for a while now so wanted to see how today went 1st. Had 170 3x3 on paper thought that wouldn't be challenging at all so with the new total took me to 180 and that still didn't give me too much grief at all which was a good feeling will I be able to keep up with the demand who knows week 9 finishing on 1x3 @210 sure as hell going to give it my all would be happy with 1 tbh but we'll see how we go should be interesting next 3 weeks I say.

Bench feeling confident again with it felt a bit down with it at the start not sure what had happened then that change of stance gave me a new lease on life will slowly work on bringing the heels flat ready for comp time.

Sup MG! uh not really just wanted to keep going until I felt sore and didn't really feel it much by the 90 and it was getting hard on the shoulders if anything so thought i'd ss while taking the plates off and was able to walk fine afterwards maybe I wasn't doing them aaaaaall the way and up or something :shrug: Have had much worse previously on just 2 sets of 50 @60kg that was a good parmp.

Not a bad one today not great but not bad either. Pin press continues to challenge me which I do like they just never seem to get any easier. Deads were good felt lighter than I expected liking the 5kg increase pw instead of 10. Form just didn't fell too great pretty much muscled it up didn't feel the hammies getting used at all and hips were high again this was pointed out by OB on my last set which was the ugliest for the camera probably because I thought I tried to do it all in 2 sets instead of 3 :doh: all good in theory but yet again anything over 3 just doesn't agree with me.

Hook grip has been feeling much better also, considering I couldn't bare it for the 1st 3 weeks or so but just recently have been hooking the whole lot.

No chins today biceps still faaaarked from last night.
