Rack pulls today!!!!

60kg 20

100kg 20

180kg 20

220kg 10

260kg 10

Did some other exercises for calves, abs and back as well... not gonna log them.

Was almost too easy. Reps came up nice and went down and touched the rack evenly. I could have got another 5 maybe on 260kg but my grip let me down.

Back to my usual routine next week.. 2 workouts one day, next day off, repeat... will do that for a couple of weeks again then have a break for a week like this again.

Cheers! I had 300 on the bar after that set with 260... the bar didn't look too happy... and all I could think about was your eye all bloodshot... left that one for another week. lol

I had a brain workout today, and failed miserably!

God damn it... been applying for jobs... had a really nice phone call this morning from a recruitment girl... really hit it off lol Had to do some online tests for the stuff that the job required... man, I bombed out... even with google as my aid. Had to quit the test and email her and say I need to brush up my knowledge again.

Man this sucks! use it or loose it... fuark... been coasting along in my current job for way too long. Damn, need to start studying again if i'm gonna move up. grr at IT!!!

Damn, and I was all studied up at the start of the year, now I've forgotten most of it!

I've been doing Systems Administration but I want to move into a Systems Engineering role...

120kg 6 (I was going for 8 but I fucked my counting up lol)... was gonna post the video in that competition thread of SG's... but yea fucked it up only realised after watching the video. I had another handful of reps in me, man I'm a retard sometimes.

Then I went to the Hammer Strength Incline Press

Did 3 sets of 6-8 with 3pps

3.5pps 3 shitty partials dropset 3pps 4, 2.5pps 4, 2pps 10, 1pps 20. Not much rest here.

Dumbbell Flyes next

35kg for 2 sets of 6

32.5kg 6

30kg 8

27.5kg 10

25kg for 2 sets of 12-15

Optimass and Android were right there on the next bench over and started doing some Dumbbell Pullovers... so I did them too..

40kg 10, 8, 6

Then I went and did some Abs and Hyperextensions...

Weighed in at 86kg today. So bulking is going good up from my low of 82kg a few weeks ago... should hit 90kg mid to late Dec... then onwards to 100kg by middle of next year!

shit, at first I thought you just did 6 reps of 140kgs, was in disbelief to see you do that weighing 86kgs.

I'll try to do 8 reps with 140kg before Dec 12.... what you saw was just a warm up. :)

I've done 12-15 reps with 140... at 81kg. :D

I was 81kg three years ago when I won this:

I did manage to get it half the way up but the 2 second pause at the bottom zapped too much strength. I didn't do any powerlifting training going into the comp so I had no idea what I could do with a proper pause.

Back then I could confidently do 160kg for a few reps, normal bodybuilding style without a pause, no spotters needed in sight...

Early this year I fucked my AC joint up with heavy dumbbells doing Branch Warren type presses - been holding me back ever since. So depressing!

I think placemakers are looking to hire some people IDW, they used to be outsourced to datacom but it seems like they're going inhouse now

they'll be alright, they look after all of fletcher building's companies (and there are quite a few number of companies under the fletcher umberlla) managed switches + a big number of servers (anything from a moss server/JDE servers/to the main FB firewall) not to mention the hardware/software procurement is done through them (they just order it from companies such as pb technologies through a 5 star account and then charge on top of it lol) , it doesn't seem to be on fbcareers...I'll call some people on Monday and check if it's still advertised on the internal board...

btw didn't know your weight was only 85 and doing those lifts...strong unit bro

Yea, I'll stick to around that, probably do another video tomorrow.. haven't gone heavy for so long, not really too confident on flat bench anymore to be honest. Still want to do 140 for 8 before this comp closes though.

Trained with TLAF, SG, and Android today.

Luckily I had someone to count for me.

Did 140kg on Squats

8 reps I'm told for the first set

5 reps on the second... my Quad injury made me stop. If only I didn't have shit like that holding me back. Oh well, need to do a few weeks of lower weight Squats I think.

Then I did a couple of sets of about 20 reps with 100kg... wasn't able to go all the way down due to my damn Quad problem... still did about 90% down.

Then we went over to Hack Squats

I worked up to 4 plates per side and did 4 reps, held back a bit due to my Quad... Android the bastard got 8 reps... so, I should have pushed for more! lol

Did a few sets of 8-12 with 3 plates

Then we shifted over to Leg Extensions

I worked up to close to full stack and did one set of about 8 reps with 275lbs.

I then put the full stack on and turned the knob on the machine and added another 15lbs... but my Quads were fried.. it didn't move. Then did half-stack for 20 reps (according to my counting so who knows).

Android The Natural then called it a day and went home and left us hardcore fellas to continue, so we did a Superset of Seated Calf Raises with Seated Hamstring Curls.

On Seated Hamstring Curls I worked up the stack to 68 (or was it 78kg? can't remember) and did about 10 reps... then I did a drop set down to 48, then 32. After this I did a few more sets of 48kgs if I remember correctly.

On Seated Calf Raises I did a few sets with 2.5 plates. About 8-15 reps per set... didn't worry about the number of reps I just focused on my calves and made sure they got a good working.

At this point I called it a day, and left SG and TLAF - the hardcore fellas that they are - to continue with Hamstrings... they went on to do SLDL with dumbbells. I had to get home because my brothers came up to see me today, but I wasn't here ... so they went to the movies. And they're not here yet... could have stayed and trained some more! Ah well. Damn, they should tell me when they're coming up!

Was really good meeting SG and TLAF today and I enjoyed the train (apart from being held back a lot by my damn Quad tear!). SG is a damn monster, really worked hard on his Squats today. Go hard bro! Great meeting TLAF too, he's got some pretty good hunger to get bigger... once all the pieces start coming together he'll get there. :-)

It definitely felt like a less than maintenance train, though... just can't hit my Quads hard enough with the heavy weight with this injury. I WILL GO LIGHT FOR A FEW WEEKS AND LET THIS HEAL! (I hope)
